Ten Hill Place
Good choice at breakfast, the bar and helpful and friendly staff throughout the hotel. However, the heating didn't work in the room, the bathroom mirror light didn't work, so we were given a floor based heater which worked.

Apex Grassmarket Hotel
Charming boutique hotel. The room was spacious with two beds larger than we expected, more full size versus single which was a very good thing. The bathroom was functional. The breakfast included in the package was high quality and a great way to begin the day.

We arrived to a friendly front desk - the nice wee (kids corner) was mentioned and we found it a smooth check in/out. Rooms and bathroom products at a pleasant standard.
