"We had a happy week in the house. There were plently of activities available. The property was very clean with adequate cooking equipment. We would have liked an additional toilet in the house for the 5 of us ( the property is advertised as accomodating 11 people). Two others are located in the pool and the annex, but not really available during the day."

"Villa facility was very clean although the floor definitely needed to be mopped All communication was in French which is a minus - contact should be multi-lingual or at least in English as well Lack of breakfast was a big minus and local Tabac recommended for breakfasts was very dirty full of tobacco smoke and unclean so we did not eat there"

"Un catastrophe, toilettes boucher plus canalisations et cela depuis 2022 nous sommes en 2024 !!! Vitre casser , cuisine casser four HS réfrigérateur avec un pot de crème fraîche ouverte et sale . Il vous dit que vous pouvez fêter anniversaire et autre mais à 20h il faud rester à intérieur Porte et fenêtres fermées qui elle sont casser aussi . "Agnes the owner is very nice. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, be sure to check out the Church in a field of sunflowers about 4 miles away. Train to Paris is easy and about an hours ride. You will need a car to get around though in general including to the station."

"Loved the peace and tranquility of the area after a busy day at Disneyland or Paris. A bit far from supermarkets but doable. Pool a bit cold for kids but they enjoyed it nevertheless. Only shame is it rained whole week except day of arrival when we got to enjoy the bbq. "

"Everything about our stay was perfect, the cottage had everything you could ask for. The hosts were extremely nice and also helpful, though as the cottage was fabulously equipped we had no call to bother them after the meet and greet except to pass on the keys as we left. A lovely garden (equipped with a table and chairs) that leads onto a wonderful lake. Our dog also accompanied us on the 5 night holiday and loved the walk around the lake. A perfect place to unwind. "Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Iouri et sa compagne ( même si celle-ci n'était pas présente durant notre séjour). Les chambres étaient agréables et les lits étaient confortables. "The hotel is quaint and historical - but also modern, warm and welcoming. It is perfectly located in the middle of a beautiful French town/village steeped in history. But above all the staff make you feel like you are home - the manager Clara is exceptionally gifted at making you feel welcome. I travel frequently and I have to say, the customer service at this property is five star across the board. I highly recommend this property."

"It’s only 3-minute walk to the palace and close to restaurants and supermarket and fruit store. The only concern is the ventilation of the room and I saw mold buildups on the tiles of the shower room. The staff immediately cleaned it after I bring out this problem."

"A lovely budget hotel in a Fontainebleau. Friendly welcome, clean, quiet room. Bathroom small by North American standards but not out of the ordinary in Europe. Close to everything, Fontainebleau Chateau is close, ( to enter the grounds) and the ticket booth about 15 minutes away. Place de la Republique is perhaps a 7 minute walk away, with a lovely market three times a week. Dining options are many, varied and close by, (il Primo Biaccio a great Italian place). We did not avail ourselves of the offered breakfast so can’t comment, and arrived by train, a lovely 30 minute walk mostly through a park, so can’t comment on parking either.. highly recommended. (Though not if you are expecting modern North American chain hotel standards) "
