"Even though it's a large hotel, you feel like you have the place to yourself based on the design. The pool and all the public spaces are vast, so you feel some exclusivity without the price-tag of an exclusive resort."

"I stay here once or twice a year without hesitation. Everyone I deal with from Moh the waiter to the housekeeping maids like Anita are so helpful and friendly. It's a great tribute to the hotel that the staff are so excellent and continue to work for Riu. A massive turnaround of guests and they do it seamlessly. Fantastic! "

"Amazing family stay. Entertainment for kids and adults was on throughout the day and night. Staff were friendly. Food options included plenty of variety. Lots of different pools, only point would be to request that an additional pool is heated during winter months as the bigger ones weren’t used a much. Spa was lovely, games rooms kept the children busy. Room was as you’d expect, a little extra wardrobe space would be good. Quiet spot location wise, roughly 30 min walk (enjoyable along the coastal path) to the sandy beach and shops at a slowish pace. Would highly recommend as a Christmas / New Years break"

"The hotel is very relaxing, the atmosphere is serene. We stayed in December and it had a number of heated pools. There were always available sun loungers. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great. "

"It's a great no-frill base with easy access to the sea front. The bungalow and patio with loungers are spacious and the beds comfy. The grounds are very well kept. The staff was very responsive the few times we had a query or needed their help. The place fitted our needs and expectations perfectly."

"Lovely hotel, great location. Fantastic facilities, everywhere was spotless. Animation team were lovely and the classes were great. Went with the prefared club which is well worth it for the lovely infinity heated pool alone. Got a lovely receptionist who welcomed us, didn't get her name but she had short grey hair and glasses. We also got an upgrade which was brilliant and really appreciated.Having the minibar topped up every day was super and the turn down service was a nice touch. The only reason I didn't give 5 star for staff was because the chefs who do the omelettes & fried eggs were grumpy and rude. Breakfast is until 10:30 but if you know what's good for you, you won't go to get an egg after 10:20."
