"The shower had the wrong wall bracket, so kept dropping off (room 8) The swimming pool was empty and looked likely had been for some time. The internet is unusable and only accessible in one area. Sound proofing between rooms not good. The staff were excellent and food ok; drinks very reasonable. If you want a break in the middle of nowhere, this is for you, the views of Mt Teide from the bedroom amazing."

"El Tanque is well located for walking. The accommodation is a good size, well presented with modern appliances. We stayed in the winter. The living room has no windows and the bedroom has shutters instead of glass. As a result, the rooms do not heat up during the day, but cool at night. The low energy lightbulbs are dim, so the overall impression is unfortunately cold and darKish. There is a wood burner, but the off-cuts provided do not generate much heat.
