"Nice Southwestern vibe, staff friendly and generally helpful. Food in restaurant and lounge was excellent. Appreciated the free yoga class on weekends. Safe in our room didn't work due to low batteries. After a fairly long wait, maintenance person came to fix it but it still didn't work. We enjoyed the hot tub on the first day of our stay but it was out of order the last 3 days of our stay. Noticeable smoke smell in our room due to dining room fireplace. "

"Spent a weekend at La Fonda en route to Denver. Would highly recommend this hotel. The staff and management were welcoming and so helpful to new visitors to Santa Fe. The location is within walking distance to almost everything you would want or need here - Restaurants, boutique shoppes and galleries all around. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable (they upgraded us to a one bedroom suite), and the restaurant was always busy (we only had breakfast here, but delish!). "

"Great location, easily walkable to the central square. Plenty of parking for $10/day, a bargain in Santa Fe. Fairly inexpensive room compared to the other nearby options. Carpet in the room was soiled and ready for cleaning or replacement, but otherwise the room was fine and the bed was comfortable. Room was serviced daily but the empty body wash dispenser in the shower was empty our whole stay and not refilled during housekeeping service. But overall, a nice place for the money and we’d stay...
