Nice staff, clean rooms. Good location.

Room was nice. Mattress and pillows were amazingly comfortable. As other reviews mentioned, it is an older facility. But the interior of the room was updated. The bed was listed as a queen, but seemed more the size of a double. Not an issue for me, because I was travelling by myself. No overhead light meant the room was a little dark; during the day, with the curtains open it was nice and bright, but due to the outside entrance, people pass by your window as they walk toward their room. Breakfast was well stocked, and monitored by staff to replenish as necessary. The seating area was spacious. Many options to choose from: waffles, toast, bagels, hot and cold cereal, etc. Would have been nice to have eggs and bacon or sausage like many other places offer, but you can't have everything! The outdoor pool was closed for the season, but looks like that would be a definite attraction in the summer. All in all, a good place to stay for the price.

Convenient location!

We looked for a reasonable hotel on our way to Maine. The reviews on ALL the sites scared me! This hotel had pretty good, recent reviews so I decided to chance it. You just never know…. Walked into a very nice room. The floors are not carpet which I like because it’s easier to keep clean. Bathroom was clean too. No dust on anything - lights, dressers, etc. I always pull the sheets down to check and they were good. Something’s I will put a note at the end of the bed for the next guest or housekeeping to say “if you find this note, you are doing an excellent job” and “if you are a guest and find this note” these sheets have not been changed”. I think if you have read this far, go ahead and book a room. You should be very satisfied. PS - there isn’t any breakfast but that doesn’t bother us. It just gave me more time to sleep in!
