It's a wonderful place to stop on your way across North Texas between Port Arthur and Amarillo or Denver to Ft. Worth on Hwy 287. It's not fancy, but it's clean, cozy and welcoming. We would love to have you visit and enjoy your stay.

Stay in Electra
The house is charming and adorable. The host has thought of everything from little jars with snacks to several choices of K cup coffee! The linens are super soft and the beds comfortable. There is a separate AC unit in the living room as well as each bedroom. They also supply a washer and dryer with soap included. So nice to be able to wash your dirty clothes and pack all clean ones! I love this place will be coming back!!

Cute and convenient
"Hen"rietta was cutely decorated with chicken decor. It was very clean and host was responsive to needs. Though the home has been on VRBO, it is under new ownership and we were some of the first renters under the new owners. The property was sold after our initial reservation was made so there was a little hitch getting it switched over but everything worked out. I feel the new owners are doing their best to make sure clients are happy and were very responsive to any needs. They even had some snacks available in a chicken cookie jar. The second bedroom is small and just has a daybed, but adequate for our needs. It was very convenient to the Grand Theater. We were there for a film festival and it was only about 8-10 blocks away. I would definitely stay here again.
