"Lovely property, really friendly host who was always on hand to help and offer advice. Lovely pool and view. Well maintained property and easy to find. You would definitely require a car to get around. Buses do run but we found it much easier to have a car for getting to and from beaches and restaurants etc."

"Fotis was very helpful and welcoming. The pool and surroundings were immaculate and well-maintained. The studio was comfortable and well equipped with some thoughtful welcoming touches. The balcony was sunny and pleasant but overlooked a busy road with associated traffic noise. We hadn't realised it was more than walking distance (for us!) to amenities so it was necessary to drive everywhere. For that reason alone we are unlikely to return but it is a good base for touring the locality."

"We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful hotel complex. It's a very special place in a lovely village close to the wonderful old town of Rethymno. Manolis and Felicia could not do enough for us. They added a wonderful local touch and hospitality to our stay with conversation and lovely breakfasts with local delicacies. There are wonderful restaurants in the area and beaches too. "We arrived at the villa and were met by Stratos and his wife who were both very welcoming. The villa was stunning and suited our large group. The wrap around terrace at the top of the villa with table, chairs and loungers was the perfect place to eat and watch the sunset. The pool itself was large with loungers and in the evening lit by pretty lights. The village Anmatos was small with a restaurant and cafe. No shop so a car is needed. We loved exploring the area and would recommend Spili beach...
