"I stay in around 100 places each year for work and this was bad.
Poor quality fittings and fixtures vey well used. No soap, shower door didn’t close, toilet on some kind of strange plinth. Laminate falling to bits. No Freeview or terrestrial tv, streaming only but WiFi is so bad it doesn’t work at peak times 2 mattresses on bed bottom one very grubby
I think it’s a converted garage.
May suit someone with low standards I ended up leaving after 2 nights stayed last night elsewhere "

"The whole place was amazing, thatched roofs, picture post card looks, spacious rooms, well equipped and comfy. Food both in evening and breakfast - fabulous. "
"Fair pricing...was allocated room 10 which is way up..room was a bit hot...a fan would be appreciated otherwise our stay was up to standards considering the money we also paid. Very clean room"
"Would def stay again. Note that there is no AC in this hotel. They do provide a fan but it was quite warm even with. Kudos for doing their best given the heat.
Stayed here for one night prior to cruising — can walk to cruise ship from hotel no problem. Lots of things to in the area. Very close to Southampton central station as well.
