"Tough place to find when we arrived at night, but reading the reviews i knew this. I would recommend a sign at the "Y" in the drive way to point to the house. The house itself was very nice. There is definitely a smell of dogs in the house so if that is an issue, this may not be your place. I was not able to utilize the outdoor spaces or the river because of a storm. "My extended family of 10 stay for the week. With 5 active kids ages 9-12 there was plenty of kayaks, tubes, and canoes for them to use. The river is calm in front of the house. Yes the hill to the water is steep but it wasn’t an issue for any of us. The porch rocking chairs on the screened porch was wonderful for drinking coffee and watching the river every morning. There’s a stack of firewood for the fire pit which is nice of the host to supply along with sticks (in the kitchen) for roasting...
