"The house was beautiful and big enough for all of us. The lake was the most peaceful one we’ve ever been to. We’ve stayed all over the Adirondacks and Maine. We were a little nervous at first with no cell service but STARLINK wifi was great and we had no issues. There is also a landline. Kayaking surrounded by gorgeous mountains was amazing. "

"Overall good stay. My husband loved the sauna! My only complaint was that there was only 1 AC and it was in the living room, so the bedrooms were very warm even with the doors open and fans on. It was very quiet and clean, everything else we needed. It was approximately 25 mins to a wedding venue on lake Champlain. "

"Although the house was lovely and fit our needs well, the true gem of this property is the pond! There was a small penninsula on the water with chairs, table, and firepit. The spring fed pond was quite special for swimming and for simply hanging out by. We would definitely return here."

"This historical home is just so cool. My kids kept finding new treasures throughout the home. We used it as homebase for my son's wedding and extended family and friends were very comfortable. Enough spaces, rooms and bathrooms for everyone to enjoy time together and apart. My kids LOVED the pool which was very comfortable temperature for September. "We had the very best time here as a family. Communication with owners was prompt and the check in process/tour by Barbara and her daughter, along with the goodie basket and a note for us was a nice personal touch! We felt very welcomed. The kids (teenage girls) did puzzles, canoed and kayaked. My husband and I canoed in the rain (fishing) and saw an otter swimming towards us, it felt a little magical. It was peaceful, quiet and private. The only thing I wished for is that we could have stayed...

"Home is huge and beautiful. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Hot tub was awesome! Very quiet area. Hidden away in the mountains, it’s a perfect place for peace and relaxation.
