One of a kind !
One of the best properties ever! So unique and beautiful. The river was amazing, views from everywhere, secluded and private. Hearing the rushing water was the perfect soundtrack to our stay.

Absolutely Beautiful Pictures cannot describe
The house and property are one of a kind. When you turn the corner and head up the drive you are just blown away. The kids loved floating and playing in the creek. The fireflies provided a nightly show that blended from high in the trees to the beautiful stars in the sky. Accurately described and owners have great communication. The house seemed to have everything we needed. Perfect location.

Nothing like it
Plenty of space for eating, hanging out, and for everyone to get a good night’s rest. The house is obviously one of a kind but its also very comfortable and well maintained. The weather was gorgeous, perfectly shady and sunny property!

Best creek ever!!!
The location of the house and the creek was perfect. But !!! The house was hot during the day and when I set the thermostat to 69 they ( all of them) would go back up to 71. I like it cool so we weren’t happy with that. The stay was made great by having the creek on site. Also on the drive to the house I received an email/ contact I had to fill out. Didn’t care for that either. Ivy not had to do that before with VRBO . Thank you

Such a unique place, the photos do not do it justice!

Loved it !!!
Everything about this place screams relax and enjoy yourself. We would have never left the site to see anything except we had already had plans. We all felt we could have stayed there the whole time and been in a piece of paradise. The place is so homey and with 12 people you never felt like you were crowded at all. This place brings people together. The tv never was turned on at all the pool table and the river kept us all together as a family/friends and everyone enjoyed absolutely everything….we are ready to book again. Thank you!!!

Amazing Memories at the Creek House
We had a family vacation with 6 adults and 6 kids ranging from 2-9 yrs old. We had such a great time, the kids played in the creek, caught crawdads and some small trout and slide down the rock in front of the bridge, the hot tub was really nice and the whole property is just so unique and fun to look at, little stone paths through the moss and lots of different woods and materials throughout the house. We also enjoyed playing a couple games of pool each day in the living room We also had 2 exploring trips. We went to Amicalola Falls and hiked up and then went to the lodge which has an amazing view and a cool spot to sit and rest before hiking back down We also did a kayaking / tubing trip down the Cartecay which was a lot of fun but the rapids were probably a little much for our younger kiddos, It was perfect for our kids who were about 5 and up though and we had a really great adventure - Blackberry Falls at the end was a lot fun to go down in the tubes and you can climb up the rocks and go down as many times as you want Awesome spot, I hope we can come again someday

Best Stay in Ellijay!!!!
This little retreat in Ellijay, Georgia was the best we have stayed in. The layout of the house, the comfort of the beds, the location to the trout streams, and the fun that you can have on the creek. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and our time together. Thank you to our wonderful host and we hope to be back next year.

Peace Away From Home
My family and I stayed here for New Years and had an amazing time. The house is perfect and has lots of privacy for different families staying together. The property is beautiful and we spent most of our time outside enjoying the fresh mountain air. We can’t wait to come back!

The owners have really kept the property up, and are always very easy to work with. It's such a unique place. It's rare to find a location with 6 bedrooms, a fire pit, big kitchen, tons of space, AND a creek. Very private yet very open. We will be back again for sure.

Clean, beautiful property
By far the cleanest and most well kept vacation home we have ever stayed in. The pictures do not do it justice. The property was gorgeous especially after it snowed! Great place for some family photos! Such a peaceful area to enjoy some family time. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. We did not have any cell service in the house and the WiFi only worked in the living room and master bedroom for us. They do have a landline phone and WiFi calling also worked well in the living room.

Beautiful Scenery from House
We took our children and three grandchildren under age 6 for a weekend stay. The main floor was very spacious for the kids to run around. They loved the swing. We went to Hillcrest Orchard (18 min drive) one day and to Amicalola Falls the next day. Both short drives for kids who take an afternoon nap. Highlight was when our son caught a crawfish in the river with his bare hands, and then watching as he taught his six year old daughter how to pick it up. Fabulous!

Family Vacation 2022
Perfect setting for our adventurous, outdoorsy family. Definitely the most unique vacation we have ever had. Plenty of room to spread out. The kids loved sliding the rock in the creek. The adults enjoyed the jacuzzi. We set up a family pool tournament and had a blast. We built fires and made s'mores at the fire pit. We chased fire flies at night. The location allowed us to go and hike the falls at Amicalola, enjoy several wineries, ramble around the shops in Ellijay and Blue Ridge and bring back some beauties from gem mining. Great location. Beautiful, spacious, rustic home which our family of 11 thoroughly enjoyed. We will be back next year!

Wonderful Place To Go With Family
We had a wonderful visit at this location. The house is uniquely built over a river. I have never seen anything like this and was very impressed. It is a very relaxing place to take family. The kids loved playing in the river. We had a great time sitting on the porch and looking at the beautiful forest and river. We definitely plan on going back sometime.

Exactly what we needed!
Guys trip to the mountains could not have been better. The beautiful backdrop when you pull in the driveway continues out of the backside of the property, following the creek up the hill. The fire pit is perfectly placed, just don’t sit down stream. Hot tub, pool table and patios made this so relaxing. Thank you for letting us stay in your home! We’ll be back for sure!
