Our newly renovated cottage has a beautiful view of Hedgehog Harbor. Set apart from the hustle and bustle of wonderful Door County, you can still easily access parks, great outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and kayaking, not to mention plenty of restaurants, art and culture. Hedgehog Harbor Cottage is a lovely, peaceful place to start and end your explorations of Door County.

Fall weekend getaway
Location was beautiful. You could hear and see the water and fall colors. Place was decently clean. Some spider webs and dead bugs on the window sills that I would have expected to be cleaned up. Bedrooms are very small and have big wardrobes that made it had to fit a pack and play when traveling with kids.

The location was perfect. The view superb. The accommodations met our every expectations. I highly recommend this cabin. We have been many time to DC and we never stayed in Gills Rock which made for a different visit. Five minutes to the ferry to Washington Island gave us an unhassled day on the island. All in all, we would gladly return.

Fall getaway
We were very happy with this cozy clean cottage. Gills Rock is very peaceful. The hosts were prompt in answering any questions we had. We were able to walk to see the sunsets at night and have patio fire. It was nice we could bring our dog along. Great location for sightseeing.

Great Little Cottage with water view!
We had a wonderful stay! The weather was perfect, and the property was exactly as described. The only thing we were missing was hotpads, as we cooked almost all of our meals there. (We left one there for future guest use!) No complaints!

Clean, private, nice view, good for small children
We had a great experience staying here! Within walking distance to a great coffee shop called gills rock coffee and the shoreline restaurant. Nice view for a fire at night. The size was great for our small child and dog. Kitchen was a good size to make meals when we didn’t want to venture out. We will definitely keep this place in mind for another stay!!

Quiet cottage to enjoy Door County
Tucked away at the far north edge of Door County, this is a perfect spot for those who want a quiet headquarters for exploring the peninsula. Comfortable beds, all the basics, and a patio with a fire ring that has a view of the water across the road and gorgeous sunsets. A short walk to a supper club style restaurant with water view, and short drive to the Washington Island ferry for exploring.

Enjoyed staying here!
Very peaceful and relaxing - we liked being further up the peninsula away from the crowds. We stayed with our dog and 4-month old baby. Everything you need is in the cottage. Beautiful starry sky at night. Close to Liberty Grove Town Park Beach which was amazing (not crowded, larger beach that you can walk up and down). Pat was a very kind and helpful host!

Adorable updated cottage
Loved our stay at this cute cottage just a stone’s throw from Weborg Dock, one of my favorite places in Door County. There are good restaurants and a very friendly coffee shop nearby. Quiet and cozy. Thank you!

Great spot for relaxation
We had a fabulous time in Gills Rock. This sleepy little town is the perfect place for a Covid get away. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing week. It is small and we were glad there were only 3 adults and one dog. We loved morning coffee at the Gills Rock Coffee Shop (make sure your try the cherry turnovers), the 10 minute drive to a great beach at Europe Bay, and our nightly walks to the Shoreline Inn to take in the fabulous sunset. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!

The Cottage
The cottage was very comfortable. The WiFi signal from the big house up the hill was mostly ok but we lost the signal or received a weak signal a few times. It would be better if the cottage had its own router. We loved the location and had a great time celebrating our 50th anniversary. The master bedroom is small with a full-size bed up against one wall.
