"Retro is in! This is an old-style "motel" that has been completely renovated with all of the modern amenities. The room had a rustic decor with exposed beams and varnished woodwork, but the bathroom had all new updated fixtures and a modern touch. On top of it all, the location is an easy walk to food or to the University of Oregon campus. Maybe buried the lede by not mentioning "Free Parking" sooner. "

"This is an excellent location near the 5th Street Market, Saturday Market and restaurants as well as the Hult Center for Performing Arts. The Duck theme is fun and carried throughout the property. Rooms are pretty small but have lots of personality. Graduate hotels are always a kick to stay in! Doors to the hallway are old and don't seal off noise as well as a newer hotel. "

"The staff were amazing and super great! They opened the pool gate for us, answered all of our questions. Very helpful and responsive. The room was also great! However the outdoor pool was pretty dirty (I totally understand because the season was almost over) and i began my google search of all the things that could go wrong with a dirty hotel pool...don't do that. Just say no to swimming in dirty pools."
