Welcome to "Close Enough," your sweet bungalow retreat just over the Emerald Isle bridge, perfectly situated between the ocean and the sound. Tucked away from the road and nestled among the trees, this charming home with sandy-colored siding and turquoise shutters invites you in through sliding glass doors into a spacious, open living area. Choose from the back or front porch to relax, enjoying the salt air and cool breezes. Sip your morning coffee, toast with wine at night, or simply unwind in this serene setting.

The bungalow offers three inviting bedrooms, each with a queen bed, making it perfect for friends, family, and guests. Embrace the walkability of this location—take a stroll along the sand or enjoy a swim in the sea. Spend your days building sandcastles and your evenings dining at local restaurants, or opt for a cookout on the grill while watching the stars. Nearby shopping and activities, such as boating, fishing, ferry cruises, and water slides, ensure endless fun. This is the Crystal Coast vacation you’ve been dreaming of!

WHAT IS PROVIDED:
Spectrum Rental Properties will provide sheets and bath towels. Beach towels and equipment is not provided. If you would like information on beach equipment rentals, we are more than happy to provide you with a list. Properties will be provided with a starter kit in each full bathroom and kitchen. Each kitchen starter kit will contain a small bottle of dish soap, two dishwasher pods, sponge, and two fragrance free laundry pods. The kitchen will also have one extra trash bag
Each bathroom starter kit will contain a travel size shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, makeup wipe, and body bar.
Spectrum Rental Properties is unfortunately not able to provide additional boxes/bags. This is a starter kit; anything additional will be guests responsibility to provide.

PET POLICY:
Dogs are allowed with a $200 + tax non refundable pet fee per dog, with a 3 dog maximum.
VRBO guests: Guests can only add one dog to the reservation. If you are planning to bring more than one dog, please notify Spectrum Properties to add the additional pet fee(s).
Failure to let us know about your pet(s) could result in a $700 fine.

Excellent location; quiet neighborhood; close to beach
The house is comfortable. The location is about a seven-10 minute walk to ocean. Quiet and respectful neighborhood. I needed a respite from a hectic work schedule. The home fit the bill.

All was ok. EXCEPT they had straight pins sticking in the cushion of the couch to hold on a piece of material that they obviously tried to glue on initially. Well between my husband and I we sat on them and leaned on them and got stabbed. Couldn’t find the problems when looking for them to find them ON the cushion as opposed to the couch itself. By then it was too late. Contacted Spectrum, said I’d get a call back and did not. Just happy I had already gotten a tetanus shot this year. Besides that ordeal. The beds were very noisy and uncomfortable. Couch was awful. In my opinion, the furniture needs replaced. All of it.

Close enough was a clean, comfortable, roomy home. It was an easy walk to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet without a lot of traffic. The best part is that our dogs were able to join our family vacation. We had a great time. I was sad to leave.
