"We love coming here. We normally do 2 trips a year. Our dog seems to enjoy the farm - looking at the cattle and this time we saw kangaroos. Merci loves running around freely. It's a peaceful time for us. We find the place accommodating. It is clean and the amenities are more than adequate. We particularly love the log fire. We will be back next year."

"Lovely old world ambience. Great location with walking distance of Centre of Bendigo City. Close to the beautiful Rosalind Park. Ideal. Lovely amenities and cooking facilities. Shower in spa bath a bit tricky for older folk. Likewise the self check in key safe: nigh impossible for arthritic fingers. A texted password rather than email would work much better for those on the road."

"The unit was way too small for the price we paid. Also limited power water and no tv. The porch should be made larger. Communication was left too late before the trip and this was not stated earlier. "

"Wonderful despite the rainy weekend. The tiny house was cosy with a toasty fire, or diesel heater when we wanted instant heat. The shower was hot, the bed comfy. Our hosts made sure we could get across the paddock to the tiny house when it was looking too damp for our car to make the journey in the wet. At night the stars were clearly visible from our own private river valley, complete with our own outside fire place beside the river. We took advantage of a tasty breakfast from the main house...
