Sunset views, clean room, newly renovated, old building that is well-maintained, comfy new beds & sheets, convenient to beach & restaurants & shops, easy free parking. Would stay here again at the discounted rate.

Noisy upstairs neighbors smoking weed/cigarettes and drinking on the patio. Smelled awful. The window was taped shut with scotch tape. Couldn’t open it. The room smelled like urine. The heater was making strange noises. Scary. Staff was friendly and even gave us hand locks for the windows. Parking was convenient.

I was quite cold the first night but the next day when I asked the staff for a blanket they promptly complied. For some reason the TV had been previously programmed to turn on at 6 am (!) but they later fixed that, too. Otherwise, the room was comfortable, the view quite nice, and the balcony was a nice addition.

Amazing place. Clean, roomy and wonderful bed. I liked the strong water pressure in the shower. Had a balcony with view of the ocean/beach. One block from the beach. Cafes and restaurants within a block. Shopping all within walking distance. Will stay here again when visiting Encinitas and San Diego area.

Moonlight Beach
We have been staying here for over 40 years and we love it!! Close to the beach, shopping and many choices for food. The staff was great, they went above and beyond to help our stay be the best.
