"It was chosen primarily because it was closest to family we were visiting for a few days, but also the photos of the accommodation looked fun and location beautiful. We stayed in Shawn, at the very top of a very steep hill, for us townies was the difficult part lol Shawn was very comfortable, small kitchen area, toilet and shower and lovely small decking area with bbq and views! Although we didn’t meet any staff communication was very clear via emails and website. Thoroughly recommend 👍 "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our night in the yurt. An outdoor kitchen with pots, pans and tableware was provided. It even had a sink with running water. Steve stopped by and made sure we were all settled. Friendly host! If you are into to glamping, we highly recommend it."

"Becky is an amazing host, met us on our arrival to make sure we were happy with everything or had any questions and helped with bags! Our stay was very enjoyable - seclusion of camping with the luxury of hot showers and the outdoor bath. Our kids loved the hammock. Baby cows in the field made it for us! Easy ramble to village store/cafe and two pubs."

"The caravan was nice except for a few things like the blinds in kitchen were very grimy as was the top of the cupboards , kettle needed descaling , toaster was cracked , oven needed cleaning or it was just badly marked , sink in bathroom cracked . "Great location for exploring the area which is so beautiful and varied. Sad the hotel is currently closed. Nice grounds, great outdoor unheated pool. Our lodge was spacious, cosy and clean for 6 people, if rather tired and dated , a few kitchen items down, and only had a one ring cooker. We gave various after -stay feedback to tve host about eg defunct microwave left outside tve property, . We would go again, as lots of plusses but choose a better -equipped lodge with the same company."
