Welcome to Manasota Key Inn

1 Bedroom Suite with king bed. Sleeps 2.

Enjoy our adorable and modern, 1 bedroom with king size bed and updated kitchen. This unit has two bar stools at the kitchen island but no inside dining table. There is a pop up table in front of the couch to enjoy meals there as well. There is a large dining table with chairs outside on the patio and a gas grill.

You'll love the private beach access right outside your front door, just a few steps down the paved walkway to the sand.

Relax on the large and private enclosed patio with gas grill, plenty of seating and dining table. Spend your day relaxing, fishing, swimming and searching for shells and shark teeth on the beach. There are beach chairs and beach towels available.

Enjoy free super fast WIFI and free Cable TV. There is a laundry room with free washer and dryer use on site in the common area.

We are dog friendly, any size! 2 dogs max. At time of booking, let us know if you are bringing one or two dogs along. The fee for one dog is $115. The fee for two dogs is $165.

We hope you'll love our location as much as we do! Being right at the beach, hearing the waves while you relax on the patio, and enjoying the most beautiful sunset you'll ever see, in addition to being close to the local restaurants and nightly entertainment make it the perfect getaway.

Coming Home
I'm from the area, so I was familiar with the key. I was so pleased with the property and its proximity to the beach. This unit was the perfect size, and we had everything we needed. The courtyard was great! Even though it is just off the main road, it was very calm and quiet. The puppies were able to roam around while we grilled and hung out at the table. The private beach was awesome! I know it was off-season, so I don't know how crowded it might be later in the year. While we were there only a handful of people walked by. I am already planning a trip back to rent one of their larger units. It was great to come back home!

Just didn't like the place.....
Location was good but the unit was very small and needs a renovation. The TV is only 27 inches and no one has anything that small these days. Spend a few dollars to make it all more up to date.

Not what we expected. Water pressure in kitchen very low. Took a long time to get even warm water never mind hot water. Very small TV had to move the couch half way across livingroom to be closs enough. Bed was very comfortable but impossible to keep the plastic cover, mattress pad and sheet in place. Plastic glasses, no oven mitt. No trivet to put hot things on out of the oven. Probably would have been more comfortable in a motel with small kitchenette. It had a three legged grill propped up on a cement block, very rusted. We did enjoy the beach very much. Have stayed in places that felt like home. Definately not in this place.

What a great week!

A taste of Old Florida on Manasota Key
We had a wonderful stay! This is our, go to, place to stay when visiting family in Englewood. A short walk to the beach. Beautiful sunsets! Close to everything and very laid back and relaxing. Our Host Rikki is alsways outstanding and communications are exceptional! Everything is top notch and the unit is always spotless upon arrival. Never disappointed!

The unit fit our needs perfectly. Loved the short walk to the beach. My only suggestion would be for a small cooler. We went exploring the area and a small cooler would have been a nice addition.

Small but enough for two people.. The outside patio with a table and grill was nice but there was no outside lights.. there was chairs for the beach .. We stayed for a week and loved the beach that was down a short path to the most amazing sunsets every night 🌙

Small but clean and cute. Bedroom was big, but very small bathroom. Kitchen updated but no table, just counter seating. The private outdoor patio was HUGE, included grill and eating table. Beach chairs and patio chairs included. Very nice and pet friendly.

Terrible stay
We were so unhappy with the property ): We don't know for sure but we felt like there could be mold in the unit. We both started with horrible allergies as soon as we got there and my wife was really feeling it in her lungs. Our towels took at least 4 days to dry while they were hanging. The moisture in the house was horrible. There was a really bad smell in the unit as well and they had some serious air fresheners in the place when we got there and it wasn't helping any. Also the thermostadt had to be controlled by the owners so if you wanted to turn the heat on you had to text them, if it got too warm you had to text them again. If you wanted switched to air, you have to text them and let them know. We have never stayed anywhere that we could not control our own thermostat and the air they would only turn down to 72 which we found to be very stuffy in the afternoons and for sleeping.

The bed is probably the biggest problem for 2 reasons. First, the mattress is totally worn out and is so bad on one side that there is actually an area about one and a half feet wide by 3 feet long that is visibly sunk down several inches. It is as if a five or six hundred pound person has been sleeping there. Secondly, I have 4 open wounds on my shin just below the knee from bumping into the sharp bedframe. This happened because there is too little room between that frame and the bathroom wall. As for cleanliness i was truly surpised how dirty the floors were. I was charged a substantial cleaning fee and i truly cannot understand why the floor had not been mopped in preparation for our stay.Rikkie seemed like a truly nice person, but come on - having a decent bed to sleep on and a clean floor to walk on should be a given.

Amazing location but needs updated and cleaned.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The property was 156 steps to the beach! (We counted!!) It was also very close to restaurants. The pictures of the property are a bit misleading. It was very run down and quite dirty. Everything was old and in need of repair. The couch pillows were stained and dirty. There were random mismatched towels that we were not sure if they were clean or dirty. The beach chairs that were provided were rusty and broken. I messaged the host and she informed me to take another units chairs and they were also rusty and broken. There was dog hair everywhere. This property has such great potential. It definitely needs updating and a very deep clean.

Perfect Beach House
This house was just perfect for us! It was clean and cute! The bed was comfortable! Kitchen had most of the things we needed. Beach chairs and umbrella were available. Laundry was a bit tricky since there's one of each machine to be shared, but at least we were able to make it work and do a few loads. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog! And we loved having the grill. The beach is only a short walk away and there were so few people that it felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves! We would definitely come back!!

Great Place!
We had a great week! The unit is perfect for the 2 of us and our dog. Having a fully fenced in area to give her some outside time was perfect. Hopefully the palms grow some more before our next trip to give a little more privacy from the road, but overall, it is a great place to stay!
