A beautiful flat in a a remote village for an amazing winter trip
A perfect pace to stay if you wish a quiet and natural winter time with all the comfort possible. It was nice to arrive in the flat where a wood fire had been lit, with plenty of available wood and some goodies (biscuits, jam etc...) left for us. We drove from Nice airport (2 hours away). Marja's appartment is so well equipped, clean and comfortable. The village is located in amazingly beautiful alpine surroundings. In winter the road to the mountain pass is closed further up making it very quiet as no car can go through, enjoy the nature, silence and deconnection, you are in the heart of the astonishing national parc of Mercantour. As the local bakery has closed down, all the shops are located in the valley 20 mn away (Guillaumes) where we stopped everyday on our way to the ski station of Valberg (40mn away). Of course this is a real mountain in winter, so come a bit prepared : make sure you have a 4 snow tyres or chains as required by french laws, a spare wheel or a reparation kit (as we had a flat tyre on arrival and our rental car had no reparation kit or spare), bring food for the first meals.... to be able to fully enjoy this perfect place. The people from the village were so friendly and helpul that we just want to go back to Entraunes as soon as possible and Ma Communication with Marja was so easy.

A lovely apartment! Very quiet, sunny, comfortable and clean! The kitchen is well equipped and has lots of counter space. It is a wonderful location for all types of outdoor activities. There are few amenities/shopping in the tiny village, but it's all available 30 minutes away. We will return!

Le village est charmant, a 10 minutes du parque national du Mercantour. les promenades au depart du village sont elles aussi très belles. l'appartement est très bien équipé et les propriétaires, comme tous les habitants d'Entraunes sont très accueillant... Nous n'avons passé que 4 nuits à Entraunes mais ce fût une véritable coupure dans notre quotidien. Des rencontres agréables et bienveillantes. La région est un magnifique terrain de jeu pour les randonneurs. Pas besoin d'une voiture pour profiter un maximum des paysages. L'accueil est très chaleureux. Le gîte, spacieux. La cuisine, un vrai plaisir. Un grand merci à Marja et Guy

L'appartement a été notre parfait camp de base pour une semaine de ski de rando dans le Haut-Var. Confortable, spacieux, très bien équipé, avec un poêle qui ronronne bien, bref au top ! De plus Marja et Guy sont très accueillants, sympathiques, et spontanés pour rendre un service ! Merci à vous !

Un super pied à terre pour visiter le Mercantour
L’appartement est grand, bien agencé et bien équipé. La cuisine est ouverte sur le salon ce qui en fait un espace de vie convivial. Il y a un parking public gratuit juste à côté. Du balcon, on voit les belles montagnes et on entend le Var couler... Dans le village, il y a plusieurs lieux d’exposition à visiter et de nombreux départs de randonnées. Je recommande vivement cet appartement et ce village ! Les seuls bémols sur ce séjour : aspirateur un peu vieillot, robinet de cuisine qui fuit, pas de commerces dans le village hormis l’auberge.

Appartement très confortable et fonctionnel, agréable après une belle journée de marche ! Marja et Guy sont deux hôtes très sympathiques et accueillants. Merci encore pour l’apero ! La région est superbe avec beaucoup de choses variées à faire, quoiqu’un peu limitée pour les plus petits. Nous sommes une famille de 5, 2 adultes et 3 enfants, de 8, 11 et 13 ans. Appartement au top !
L'appartement est super confortable et très agréable à vivre (nous étions 5). La situation est parfaite pour les randonnées, et le balcon qui donne sur la place du village est un vrai plus. Le boulanger fait un pain extra: cuit au feu de bois, dans le four communal ! Prévoyez quand même d'emmener de quoi vous nourrir, et de faire le plein d'essence, car les commerces sont éloignés. Une super adresse ! un très bon accueil ! Merci pour cette belle semaine.
