"The owners do not seem to use the VRBO app messages because we never got any response from them or any check/in instructions. Tried messaging multiple times. Finally got through via phone call but with limited English getting instructions for accessing the rental was challenging. If we had gotten instructions via messages we could have translated. Once inside the rental was very spacious. And the kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was good and the beds were comfortable. The low curlings...

"This gem is located in a quiet northern suburb of Strasbourg. The host let us check in early and gave us a great overview of the apartment and the transportation options if you don’t utilize a car. Strasbourg and Colmar are worthy of a five day vacation on their own. The cobblestone roads and old rustic homes and buildings are spectacular. You must take the boat tour and visit the Cathedral of Norte Dame in Strasbourg. Thanks Christine for such a great vacation!"

"I was not able to stay at this location. On the same day I was going to stay, the owner told me it was already booked by someone else and didn't answer any following messages about the refund. I had to do this process through customer service which was really helpful. "
