Beautiful location (garden, woods, quiet, water feature), yet Zweibrücken’s excellent shopping outlet is just 2 minutes away by car. One issue for us - we may have been placed into an accessible room - the bathroom light was tied to the door of the bathroom opening - there was no way to control the light other than the door (I asked). "Having booked this hotel with very low expectations I was blown away by its facilities and 5* restaurant. The staff were fantastic, rooms exceptionally clean and restaurant was the best in the area. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend. The hotel Kunz offers exceptional value for money and easy parking which is always welcome especially as i was in a large van."

"The staff were extremely nice and wonderful, the room was nothing like the picture, the bathroom had mold not the greatest. Breakfast I paid when I got there and it was very limited also paid for dinner and all they had were hamburgers fries and other little things. Definitely eat out if you stay there. If it were not for the staff being so nice I would have probably given them a one star. Way over priced so sorry I used my points on this. "

"We stayed in the Gasthaus for 2 nights. Check in is at the hotel which is about 200 yards away. The room was spacious and very clean. Bed comfortable. Breakfast is at the hotel but is extremely good and staff all very helpful. We had our dog with us, so having a park literally at the back of the Gasthaus was amazing. We would definitely stay here again. Would certainly stay again."

"A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."
