Swept Away - Erie, PA

Get Swept Away in this beautiful Lakeside ranch retreat on 80’ cliff above Lake Erie! Plenty of room to relax with the family or group of friends. Large, well-stocked kitchen with special edition keurig, k-pod coffee selection and teas. Seating for 9 in kitchen or move to the dining room for 8. Then move to the sunroom or deck to take in the “3rd Best Sunsets in the World”! The large living room has extra large sectional to cuddle up and watch 65” tv or crash on the cali-king sofa/bed. Two spacious full bathrooms shared between all 3 bedrooms.

CAUTION: Home sits above 80’ cliff with no railing or barrier. Children should not be left attended in backyard.

Lakeside Drive is located in a quiet neighborhood in the City of Erie. Our neighborhood beach at Chautauqua Park and Beach is just a few blocks away (see listing photos). It is 5 min from downtown and the Bayfront Convention Center. Located just across the water from Presque Isle State Park and Waldameer, it is 15 min by car.

Beautiful and peaceful stay on Lake Erie

Fantastic Home!

This house is just as advertised. The views of Lake Erie from any place in the house are beautiful. The host provides over and above what you could want and even allowed us an early entry. Close to anything you want to do. We have stayed in alot of vacation homes and this was by far the nicest.

Lovely place to stay in Erie!
Traveled to Erie for a family wedding and our group (including a 1 and 3-yr old) had a great time at Swept Away. The house was stocked to meet our needs while away from home and Janelle was just the right amount of helpful and responsive. The house is as promised by the pictures but the lake views are even more stunning in person. If I ever have to go to Erie again, I’d stay here in a heartbeat!

Gorgeous house with a beautiful view! Girls trip for a couple days we loved it so much! Beautiful Christmas tree! Cool singing snowman, lots of space. Loved all of the little extras: the handwritten card, the treats, and makeup wipes, and the shampoo and conditioner! Would love to visit again and stay longer!

Perfect Get-a-Way
This beautiful lakeside home was a wonderful fit for our family of nine!! Lots of room for everyone to spread out!! The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were spacious and extremely comfortable. We especially enjoyed watching the eagles in the morning and, of course, nothing compares to a Lake Erie sunset!!

Amazing House
Mom and I enjoyed an amazing time at this gorgeous house. Perfect location. Minutes from the Presque Isle and shopping. Incredible views. The kitchen is huge with every convenience. Great House, Beautiful View
This house was perfect for our stay in Erie. Gathering for my parent's memorial service, we needed multiple houses in Erie to help accommodate our family and Janelle's properties were ideal. Not only was this house located with a beautiful view of Lake Erie, but it had an open floor plan that was perfect for our traveling guests. Roommate Reunion
Three college roommates who get together once each year who all turned, or will turn, 80 this year choose Erie for our destination this year. The house was beautiful--great deck to relax and watch sunsets; huge kitchen; nice bedrooms. It was worth every penny. Convenient location and very nice neighborhood. Every amenity you could think of were available. If not the nicest, definitely one of the best VRBOs I have stayed in.

Best Girls Wine Weekend Away
Every year, my girlfiends and I book a Girls Weekend and this year Swept Away was our choice this year! We cannot say enough positives about this place. It is a stunning home with views that are priceless. The booking, check in and check out process was flawless. Everything in the home is immaculate and there wasn't a shortage of space for us all to feel comfortable. I don't have enough space for all of the positives for this home.
