"Had a lovely stay and the outside of this hotel is very pretty. Was having a big extension built and in the morning, we were woken up by someone doing pipe or elctrical work above our room, not best pleased at 8.15am in the morning. Aside from this, the satff were lovely and we had a beautful dinner in the hotel restaurant, home made schnitzel - was delicious. Only used as a stop hotel on our way tot he Stelvio Pass so location was perfect"

"Very clean and professionally run. A place where you can tell the owners take a lot of pride in providing a nice place to stay. The breakfast was the best you can get in town, fresh fruit and lot of delicious bread and cheese. Only recommendation for improvement is to have fans in the room, it was very hot day and we were on the third floor which got pretty toasty. "

"First impressions were slightly underwhelming, but ignore those, the hotel is excellent and the staff are great. The food was wonderful and the pool was lovely. To swim and watch kites and eagles overhead is a rare pleasure and now a glorious memory. Criticisms - the room tended to get quite hot and there is public transport but it’s a bit of a walk away, but those a minor criticisms. On the main question - would I go back? Yes. Gladly. Gratefully."

"The room was spacious and comfortable, but certainly not worth the price nor rating of a 4.5 star hotel. Hotels.com boasted "4 restaurants" while in actuality there was only one restaurant with 4 different sitting areas with the same menu and you could not choose in which area you wished to sit. The older staff was also not at all friendly and acted a bit annoyed with every question or request. There were also loud noises with the creaking of the wood steps and hallways."
