Location is only a 5 minute walk from the train station in Oberhausen. Room was clean. Bed very comfortable. Very quiet environment. Hot shower was a big plus. We are here for the European Soccer Tournament so it was nice that we were able to watch games in our room.

Nice stay (cool) stay in Oberhausen
Very nice stay here. The best part was the young people working at the front desk and bar -- very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and, importantly, the air-conditioning worked really well. The breakfast was one of the most generous I've seen at a hotel, but was also a bit pricey. The only two downsides are 1) there is no kettle in the room -- I prefer to have my coffee while reading before dressing for breakfast, so this was pretty annoying 2) the carpet in the hallways was FILTHY -- there was obvious dirty and chunks that didn't get vacuumed up the who time I was there in addition to stains that are going to require shampooing to remove. The beautiful blue couches in the lobby are also quite dirty with spills that have not been cleaned off.

Room was spacious, but could have done with a small kitchenette. Beds were comfy and temperature good although the thermostat doesnt work. It was quiet in the area, the parking garage was very narrow and very small park spaces so be careful if you drive. €10 per day for parking isn't bad.

Went there in June because of GIFA Expo in Dusseldorf. Book only if transiting this area as Oberhausen is not a great place to stay. Limiited choice of Cafes and Restros nearby. Liked Salvator (Italian) Cafe nearby. Hotel Rooms were big and clean and so were the bathrooms. Huge room size which i never saw in Europe. Self Service hotel with minimal interaction with the front desk. Breakfast is also decent and Scrambled eggs is the only hot dish available. Cold cuts were amazing. View from the room was super boring. Good Budget B&B types hotel.

Vorweg möcht ich sagen das dieses Hotel sehr viel Potenzial hat, da die Zimmer wirklich sehr schön und sauber sind. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und der 24/7, Kaffee/Tee umsonst Service ist spitze. Die Lage des Hotels ist natürlich nicht besonderes angenehm, Aufgrund des Drecks und der Leute die sich dort befinden, aber daran lässt sich ja nichts ändern. Jedoch war mein Aufenthalt alles andere als entspannend. Um 2uhr Nachts wurde an meine Türe geklopft von total betrunkenen männlichen Personen die scheinbar ein paar Zimmer weiter eingecheckt hatten. Es wurde geschrien auf dem Flur, sodas man es als alleinreisende Frau mit der Angst zutun bekam. Durch den Türspion konnte ich sehen das ein Mann vor meiner Türe auf dem Boden lag und dort weiterhin Pallaver gemacht hat. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt war an Schlaf nicht mehr zu denken. Morgens lag dann vor meiner Türe der Karton der Biere und weiterer Müll. Dies meldetet ich der Rezeption die augenscheinlich selbst völlig überfordert war mit dieser Situation. Es wurde sich zwar entschuldigt aber weiter ist man mir nicht entgegen gekommen, obwohl mein Aufenthalt dadurch in einem völligen Desaster geendet ist. Sehr Schade und leider nicht mit gutem Gewissen weiterzuempfehlen.
