"Internet does not work well. There is a lot of maintenance issues. Remember that you are on island time as the wait staff in the dining area are very slow, hardley speak English and one of them is almost rude. Chairs should be sectioned off for guests when the cruise ships come there for excursions. However, we will always come back here. We absolutely love the vibe, the bartenders, the beach, the pool and room views. Josie, who runs the little coffee stand is THE BEST! Always a smile and a good morning. We have been there two years in a row now and plan to come every year. Thanks Emerald!"

"After reading reviews I wasn’t really sure what to expect. But when I say I was pleasantly surprised that would be an understatement. The place was beautiful the view was breathtaking and the faculty was so accommodating. Their restaurant was closed but their sister property across the bay was open and it was equally awesome I can’t recommend this place enough. When traveling to St Thomas keep in mind it’s an island there is ALOT of water so properties aren’t going to be the Ritz if it’s safe clean and offers great amenities be grateful! We will be staying here again!"
