"If 4.5 stars was an option, I would have chosen that. We love the Shoy's area by the Buccaneer. The 1/2 star deduction would largely be due to no bathroom on the same level as the main kitchen/living room. It is a little odd to have to go downstairs from the main living area to use the restroom. The home if very well built. It is broken up into 3 separate areas, each with a King bed, one of which has an adjacent bedroom with twin beds. I would rank this as a negative for families with...

"It was a great stay over thanksgiving week. The neighborhood was secluded, quiet and clean. Would definitely visit and rent again. I would be sure to bring water shoes as the beaches are rocky in places. There were also plenty of additional kitchen and household items either provided by the host or left behind by previous guests which was a pleasant surprise. "

"In fairness I am a native Crucian so the road coming in didn't bother me at all. Normal St. Croix things! That aside, the property is beautiful! Nice breezes this time of year did not require the use of any AC! The property is very comfortable and has everything you need! This time of year the pool was a bit cold, but that's ok cause the warm stx waters more than make up for it! I highly recommend this property and will likely stay again in the future, if available."
