+ 2 min drive to the Park visitor center

Enjoy our open, airy home for your next visit to Estes!

NOTE: You MUST input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit.

Thanks for checking out our home, perfect for families but great for couples as well. We just added a hot tub in the back yard with views of Lumpy Ridge. Enjoy!

Our place is a comfortable, single-level 3 bedroom perfectly situated just a few minutes from downtown Estes Park, a few minutes from the National Park entrance, and walking distance to the best deli, supermarket and restaurant in all of Estes Park. We love the location, the views of Lumpy Ridge, and the grassy front and back yards that are great places to relax after a long day hiking in the rockies.

You will love its open floor plan, large kitchen, and huge master bed/bath suite that's separated from the main living area and affords an additional sense of privacy. Because the house is situated relatively close to the National Park, you're nearly guaranteed to see elk, deer and other animals wandering through the yard. It's well appointed with comfortable queen beds throughout, modern sofas, a smart TV, fireplace, and ample outdoor living space. The fully equipped kitchen will allow you to feel at home during your Estes Park vacation.

All access is plowed and flat, so unless there's a massive winter storm that shuts down the entire town, you will likely be fine year round with whatever car you choose.

We are new hosts, but we are happy to have our good friend of 10 years managing our home. Nathan and his house manager Nancy have hosted 8000+ guests since 2016 and we know you will be in great hands. Their past guests have raved about their prompt replies, attention to detail, and ability to make you feel totally at home.

We spent months during early 2020 working to create a quiet and relaxing sanctuary for your family retreat. Improvements include:

+ Fresh paint throughout
+ Comfy modern couch
+ New lighting to brighten the rooms
+ Brand new beds and queen mattresses for a great rest
+ A large flat screen smart TV with lots of streaming options
+ Super fast WiFi with no dead zones

We love our home for many reasons! Our favorite features are the convenient location and the windows everywhere, which provide a ton of natural light.

***** IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES *****

There are other homes in this neighborhood, so if you are looking for complete seclusion and and isolation in the woods, this isn't your best bet. For that you'll need to search 10 miles or more out of Estes Park.

Last, check in is 4PM and check out is 10AM. I cannot accommodate early check ins and late check outs due to my cleaners' schedule. It's a super tiny mountain town and the cleaners are slammed and there just aren't other people to clean. I'm sorry about that!

BEDROOMS

Our home offers 3 bedrooms each with an incredibly comfortable queen bed for a good night's sleep.

Bedroom 1 - A master bedroom with a sparkly en-suite bathroom and a gigantic closet for your outdoor gear. We love the privacy offered by this bedroom as it is well separated from the rest of the house.

Bedroom 2 - A queen bedroom on the west side, with views from the bed of the mountains. If you want to wake up to the morning light, you'll see the sky come alive as the light first hits Lumpy Ridge

Bedroom 3 -- A smaller bedroom but still equipped with the same comfy memory foam queen mattress that's in the other bedrooms. Bedroom 2 and 3 are off a hallway (with a second bathroom) that's attached to the living/dining area.

LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT

Living Room -There's a 44" 4K smart television with Roku. Come on in and log into your favorite streaming service. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sling, Hulu, etc. There are also games, books, and a cozy fireplace.

WiFi - Our home employs a speedy WiFi network with no dead zones.

LAUNDRY & COOKING

Kitchen - The galley kitchen has everything you need to cook: a full stove and oven, fridge and freezer, and assortment of pots and pans. My brand new knives are sharp (dull knives are a pet peeve!). There are cutting boards, wine glasses, coffee mugs, and a drip coffee maker so you can get your caffeine fix before you enjoy the National Park.

Laundry - Our home offers a full size washer and dryer that you are free to use.

Guests will have full access to our home, which includes:

1 master bedroom and attached en suite bathroom
Laundry facility
Front and back yards
2 additional queen bedrooms
Open living and dining area
Private off street parking

My husband Amos and I are long time Estes locals. We love to hike, ride bikes, rock climb, and ski in the National Park. We give our guests privacy but want to ensure you have a great visit. Our good friend Nathan is managing our home, along with his house manager Nancy, and they will take great care of you!

Our home is in a wonderful, sunny neighborhood on the flank of Prospect Mountain on Marys Lake Road. From our yard you can see straight into Lumpy Ridge and the towering Sundance Buttress. There are neighbors, and we have a super nice long term renter in a small cabin at the back of our property, so if you are looking for total isolation this isn't the best spot.

The neighborhood is incredibly convenient. You can walk a few blocks down Marys Lake Road to The Country Supermarket, where you'll find a fully stocked yet uncrowded local market. They have awesome to-go deli sandwiches too. Adjacent to the market is Scratch Deli, offering amazing hand crafted warm sandwiches, plus Bird and Jim, by far the best restaurant in Estes Park. We love the place, and the owners are friends of ours.

Our home is on the west side of Estes Park, so you don't have to brave downtown traffic to get into the National Park. In the summer months this will save you a lot of time in the car! Driving into the center of town is a short 3-5 minute journey, and the Park Entrance is a couple minutes the other direction.

During the summer, there's a free shuttle bus that goes all over Estes Park and into the National Park. You'll want to walk to the Stop 3 (Manor RV Park) or Stop 4 (National Park Village, where the nearby Country Supermarket is), both of which are within a few blocks' distance.

NOISE

Events, loud music and noises, and parties are strictly prohibited. Please be respectful of your noise level so I can maintain good relationships with my neighbors. Note that we have wonderful long term renters in a small cabin on the back of our lot -- pleae treat our neighbors like you'd want to be treated.

The house is equipped with Minut sensor which measures sound levels and alerts us if things are too loud so I can give you a heads up. It does not record content, it only measures decibel levels so your privacy is 100% guaranteed. Guests are not to unplug it (we will also be alerted if that happens). You can read more about this device by searching for NoiseAware on the Internet.

NONPAYING GUESTS

Insurance requires that nonpaying and non-registered guests are not allowed on property. There are motion sensitive security cameras on the outside of the building which will pick up nonpaying guests and deter parties.

ADDITIONAL GUEST FEE

There is an additional charge per person for your stay after the first two guests. The platform will automatically calculate the total when you input your dates and guest count.

AIR CONDITIONER

Estes has a mild mountain climate in the summers but from time to time it can get hot. Like nearly every other home in town, there’s no A/C. The cool evening breeze will cool the home down quickly.

BEARS

Do NOT leave food in your car! Bears frequent this area and can break in!

We have been coming to Estes Park for a couple decades. This is our favorite place. The yard for the pups was awesome. Location is great. Everything you need nearby. Bird & Jim is an amazing restaurant. Loved the video game and full kitchen. Everything was perfect.

Beautiful home , perfect for family and pups
Such a lovely home ! We had so much fun , the location is beautiful and the backyard with a fence and hot tub made our trip complete because we could bring our dog. Host is very responsive and pretty much leaves nothing to question, like literally has YouTube videos to show how to light the fireplace ! It was awesome. There was a pack and play with sheets and a mattress, baby tub and changing table ! Those are a game changer if you forget. Only complaint is I wish the master bedroom had darker shades and that check in was a little earlier but we totally understand the reason for that. Overall 5/5 💕💕💕

Nice and clean
The home was older, but well kept and very clean. Short drive to the main part of down town Estes and to the national park. We didn’t take our dog, but there was a kennel, dog bed, and other items that would made this a pet friendly place to stay.

Nice property close to town
We were only here for 1 night, but found it to be a great place. Very close to downtown Estes, and nice accommodations on the interior plus the hot tub. Bonus with it being a little cooler was the heated floors in the bathrooms, nice add!

Estes Park house
Great place after a long day hiking in the mountains… Couple of notes for improvement. The hot tub was at 107 degrees Fahrenheit…we had to turn it down to enjoy it. Might be better to set it at 103 or so. The master bedroom front window was broken…but all other windows were good. Box fan was a bit wonky…had to tap the motor to get it from sounding like a helicopter…! The hot tub was great however the security light on the property next door put off a lot of light pollution and made it harder to see the beautiful night sky. I wish they could’ve turned that off… Beds and pillows were amazing! Heated master bathroom floor…nice touch! Overall, nice place, convenient…could be better with just a few adjustments!

Lovely!
We will very likely be booking another trip to Estes based around the availability of THIS house! Close enough to town center and far enough away from town center. There is nothing like a soak in the hot tub after a day of hiking. So comfortable I was instantly sorry that we hadn't planned to stay longer. BTW the heated bathroom floor was a most pleasant surprise! Super clean house, super comfortable beds, super convenient location. we loved it!

Good Location and Great Host!
This house worked well for 3 siblings and their spouses who wanted a good place to relax and visit. The open concept worked well for visiting in the living room and cooking breakfasts together. The house had elk visiting the yard mornings and evenings. The communications with the host were good and she followed up to make sure we got settled with no problems. The house was well outfitted for cooking, cleaning and had a full size washer and dryer that came in handy. I would stay here again.
