"A lovely old property, rooms were spacious and bed very comfy. Convenient location to the main attractions of Beechworth. Our host was very welcoming with much knowledge of the area, and her breakfast was generous and very tasty"

"Lin & Alex were superb hosts, they accomodated our late arrival and provided us with everything we needed for our weekend stay. They gave us the option to join in a long table dinner, which we took advantage of and were not dissapointed. Dinner was superb, and the conversations with other guests and the hosts and the extended family was great fun. P.S the wine that is also produced by Spring Spur is top notch, the Pinot Noir was amazing."

"Garry was an excellent host. He was there in case you needed him, but not like a blowfly. He would have time for a chat if you wanted to, he was friendly, the brekky was nice with home made bead and home made blackberry jam. Garry recommended places to see and drew an easy to follow map (s) of how to get there."

"Had a lovely weekend away at Hughes Hideaway. Was a short 10 minute drive to bright which was perfect for us. Beds were clean, comfy and warm, communication and check in extremely easy. Area very quiet. Hughes Hideaway was clean, though lots of cobwebs and bugs especially in the bathroom and along windows seals, including mould on the bathroom ceiling. Gas bbq was disgusting and has not been cleaned in a long time. Outdoor area not very inviting, needs a good clean. "

"Walking distance to most places - billsons - main strip for bakery and Lollie shop - brewery and on a short drive to other places - asylum and goal for tours. Place was exactly as pictured and was lovely staff were really nice and friendly. Highly recommend "
