"I recently stayed for six nights at the
Hostal Ambos Mudos in the Gothic Quarter of beautiful Barcelona. I was initially a bit nervous when I realized that I hadn’t actually booked into a hotel but rather a hostel. Luckily, my concerns immediately disappeared, as I soon discovered that this was more of a hybrid style hostel with, if I’m not mistaken, twelve completely private, individual rooms, several of which that have balconies directly overlooking the beautiful
Plaça Reial. In short, my...
"Second time stay and still all good and nice. Great breakfast, lovely staff. Just missing extra sun protection by the pool, it was scorching hot there this week! "

"I had a fantastic stay. The check in had a few issues but the staff really made up for any issues during the week. I had such a fantastic stay and the staff could not have done any more to make my the stay amazing. Everyone from the General manager, receptionists to the breakfast staff and the hard working housekeeping team. Thank you all and I will definitely be back "
"Property very clean, some staff were helpful but sometimes gave us wrong information. We really liked our stay though. Their city tax charges was a bit different with another hotel we stayed at during the same week. Not sure if it had anything to do with star rating. Didn’t use breakfast. We walked to most places. Subway is just outside the door. Lots of options outside. "
"The staff are incredibly warm and accommodating! The included breakfast buffet is extensive and delicious - surprising for an "all included".
The first night was difficult because our A/C wasn't working.
But we upgraded to a new room and it was lovely. The rooms are impeccable! Great boutique hotel in a very convenient location."
