"There was a storm brewing from California-Oregon-Washington. It brought winds of over 50 miles per hour in some areas, as well ocean surges and high waves. The power flickered a bit but remained in tact throughout the hotel. I watched other larger complexes lose power. Blessed to feel safe as well as accommodated with Courtyard Marriott "

"The rooms were stylish for the price and the view from our room was nice. The location of the hotel was within easy walking distance to loads of shops, restaurants, bakeries, and bars (for those interested.) I appreciated the continental style breakfast, which had loads of options so that even the fussiest of travelers would find something to nosh on. The fact that the dining room was on the sixth floor with a stellar view was a nice touch - kind of added a feeling of poshness to our stay....
