"The comfort of the place is rudimentary but the experience is very special. To stay in a chickee in the middle of the Everglades for a night is an amazing experience. No windows, only the screens for the mosquitoes. No locks on the doors. Shared batroom. Listening to the sounds of the wildlife during the night, waking up with the sunrise is so nice! "

"This place is a really good option for spare of the moment. Price is way lower than anything else around. Cross the street and your on south beach using a privat walkway. Nive pool, pickle ball ct, and pretty qyiet. Had bare necessities to use. Staff was awesome. "Very spacious house for 2 grandparents, a couple and kids 5 and 8. Everything was easy. We cooked everyday and the kitchen had everything we needed. Bonus that there there was coffee for the first morning, spices and other basics. The pool was a great size, warm and cleaned every Thursday. And the playground and amenities at Mackle Park next door were really great. The office had a Murphy bed which was useful when the kids had to be separated.
