"Great rustic and charming flat on the edge of town. Centrally located to visit wonderful places in all directions. Local foods and wines are fabulous. Bed was not the most comfortable and tight for 2 people. Check in and out was easy. Freaks have lemons on the tree in the back patio. Lovely!!"

"The cottage is beautifully decorated and quite large. Everything you could possibly need is found within, There are some lovely spaces to sit and enjoy the property. The hosts go out of their way to make sure you are happy including leaving you treats on the patio. You can easily walk into Sanitiago do Escoural which is a quiet little town. "What an amazing time we had in Orvalhos! The house sits on a hill where it overlooks the Alentejo plaines. In the mornings , the sounds of bells and birds always made me happy. The locals are just as nice! The house was very clean and it had all we needed. We kept it warm by using the fireplace every evening. Olga was always available for any questions I had and responded right away. One item to note, there are village cats that sat outside on the porch waiting for us to open the door. Since...
