About this space
This beautiful and cosy cottage is tucked away on a side street in central Exeter, providing the perfect tranquil hideaway in the middle of the bustling city. Crammed with character and all the home comforts, you can enjoy a peaceful break away, whilst still having all restaurants and bars on your doorstep. Visit Exeter's underground passages, take in stunning Cathedral architecture or see an exhibition, then return to snuggle by the woodburner after a busy day. The perfect couple's getaway.
The space
This home has been decorated with a traditional theme, including white washed walls and comfortable furnishings. The log burner is available for guests to use, however, no firewood is provided. There is plenty of seating in the cosy lounge and a small dining table perfect to enjoy an evening meal. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you could need to make most meals during your stay. With a large double bedroom and a small sofa bed, the home is able to sleep 4 if required, however we would not recommend this home for 4 adults. (Linen not provided for sofa bed).
The huge benefit of this home is the courtyard garden and the further lawned garden, which is just over the pathway at the front of the home. This secret space is extremely rare in the center of town and provides something rather unique.

The home and garden is yours for the entirety of your stay. You will not share any spaces with anyone else.
Other things to note
Please be aware the home has no allocated parking during your stay. The host will provide one parking pass for each visit, which is valid for one car, for one day only. No further permits will be provided, even if you are staying longer than a week.
The home is equipped with small hand soaps, toilet roll and basic kitchen items such as a sponge, washing liquid, bin liners and salt & pepper. If you want anything specific, such as liquid hand soap or kitchen roll, please ensure you bring this with you for your stay.
If you wish to extend your stay, you must check with our team. The earlier you check, the better as we are sometimes unable to reschedule cleaning to suit. We must provide at least 48 hours notice to our cleaners.
Pass the Keys® provides a high standard of service for short-let properties. Each property is professionally maintained and cleaned, with hotel-quality linen. We also provide 24/7 guest support and local personal service before and during your stay.
You are welcome to use and enjoy the outdoor seating areas. We do kindly ask that guests clean up after themselves and leave these facilities in a state that is suitable for the next people staying, as our cleaners will be unable to provide a full garden overhaul at each changeover.
Important: We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we've partnered with Know Your Guest, the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider. Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.
