"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"The Villa is beautiful and in a perfect location. The Villa however does require updating and some maintenance work. We did not realise the Villa does not supply any bedding or towels, so this had to be flown in and others by car which was frustrating. It would be nice if the Villa can recommend local shops, eateries and places of interest as nothing is supplied or recommended. WiFi took a few days to be sorted and both patio and pool furniture is in need a of change. Overall, lovely Villa."

"Our cottage was located about 30 minutes north of Bordeaux in a very quiet community. The owners lived right on the property and if we needed anything we’re just a knock on the door away. The unit itself reminded us of our lake cottage with cozy but somewhat outdated furniture. But that suited us just fine. Our main purpose was to have a home base to visit wine chateaus and it was perfect for that. "

"The property is exactly as described and shown in the photos. A modern well equipped kitchen is elevated with a Nespresso coffee machine. "The gite was lovely and a lot bigger than we expected, but there were only 4 of us who visited. The gite had everything we needed, and the view was lovely - across the road was a vineyard, but the gite is on a road where, although cars are few and far between, they do drive far too fast. We had a lovely few days at the beginning of our holiday but on the fourth day a taxi drove into us at speed (not near the gite, on the way to Jonzac) and the hire car we were in was flipped over and ended up...

"My wife and I spent a fantastic, relaxing 10 days in St Fort sur Gironde. We rented a very well equipped and comfortable 2-bedroom cottage with a private heated pool. As well as finding the gite all we wanted, the village and locality were wonderful too. We were also fortunate to enjoy sunny, warm weather for most of the time we stayed so we were able to swim and sunbathe almost every day."
