Positives: - spacious bedrooms - spacious kitchen for guest use - parking onsite - deck to sit out on Negatives: - very difficult to find. Need signage out front - photos of room during booking process a bit deceptive. Shows bathroom, leading one to think you room has a private one. It doesnt. - host not responsive pre-stay via Expedia; must WA him - host not engaging - host was to have lent me a bike so I could cycle back the 16km rom returning my rental car. I told him what time I needed to leave by, and asked if he could help load the bike into the car. Well he was a ''no-show' and instead was out shopping. Not reliable. At least he apologized. - there is no swimming beach at this location - nowhere comfortable outside to sit and enjoy the view. Only a picnic bench, which gets wets when raining - no amenities in area - description states kayaks and bikes available for loan, though he seemed a bit reluctant. Summary: okay stay, nice facilities. But I felt more like an inconvenience being there more thana valued guest. I think this really is more suited to surfers, not solo female travellers who may need a bit of guidance.

A gorgeous resort with incredible views over the Bay and a lively swimming pool. Our room was amazing and terrace on the top floor was awesome. I felt like I was on a second honeymoon.

The hotel's prime beachfront location made it the perfect retreat, offering a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The bungalows were immaculate, blending modern comfort with authentic Polynesian charm. Each one was beautifully designed, featuring spacious interiors, luxurious bedding, and a private terrace where we could enjoy stunning sunsets. The attention to detail in the décor and amenities truly made it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the incredible service. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They provided great recommendations for local excursions, making it easy to explore the island’s beauty. The on-site restaurant served delicious, fresh cuisine, incorporating local flavors into every dish. Whether it was the tropical fruit breakfasts or the exquisite seafood dinners, every meal was a delight! Niu Beach Hotel is a true hidden gem—peaceful, romantic, and an absolute paradise. The staff at Cooks Bay is outstanding. Every person I encountered was helpful and kind. My room was lovely. The beding was comfortably and the AC worked great. The pool bar was enjoyable as was the pool and beach area. I ate at the resturant once for each meal. The Mahi Mahi dinner was delicious. I really loved the sauce on the fish. The continental breakfast was perfect, coffee was strong, and the croissants buttery. Lunch was a huge blue cheese burger, yum. I really enjoyed my stay in Cooks Bay. I rented a scooter on site gor one day and drove around the island, just stunning views! Also, went diving with Moorea Blue Diving, awesome experience. I would definitely recommended Cooks Bay to all of my family and friends.
