Cozy Alaskan-themed cabin just minutes from the airport. Step out onto the porch on a clear night and you might catch the Northern Lights! Close to several restaurants, as well as a nice walking path! Comfortable memory foam beds in the loft ( please see pictures to see layout of loft - one big open room ) with a futon bed on the main level. Cozy, inviting, and peaceful!!
I really loved this cabin! It was my first time staying in a cabin and the experience is one that I’ll always remember. It’s cozy, quiet, clean, spacious and just gorgeous especially with the snow in early December. Danielle is spot on with communication and decorating the cabin to fit the Christmas spirit I was looking for. I was also welcomed with snacks, candy, and a personalized welcome note! This will be my go to spot the next time I visit Fairbanks! Thank you Danielle for an unforgettable experience!

Visit New Grandson & Daughter
Absolutely fabulous Cabin & Grounds. My wife & I were in town for 10 days to visit my daughter & SNL who live in Fairbanks & to meet our newborn grandson. Getting out of the Texas summer heat will now be a regular “Trip to see Trip” as often as we can. We will definitely stay here again w Danielle & Jack! It could not have been better!

We highly enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin. The owners were very informative during the entire process; the inclusion of the Guestbook was a nice touch which allowed us to get the best out of Fairbanks. 10/10 recommend!

This cabin was wonderful and perfectly located. We were able to drive to the Artic Circle, Denali Park, Chena Hot Springs and the North Pole....just an awesome time! There was even a Welcome Basket waiting for us that came in very handy due to our 1AM flight arrival. Highly recommend.

Place was incredibly clean, quality bedding and well stocked coffee/tea and had the basics for cooking. Used bbq, it was nice that they provided charcoal. Owner left snacks and drinks, which is a very nice touch. Owner has great communication with her guests.

Great location from Talkeetna. We felt we were out in the wood. Walk to the creek and fire pit was nice to have available. Also having the full kitchen available to cook was nice. Hope to return next year.

Perfect Spot for Visiting Family
This little cabin was a perfect spot for my parents, who were visiting from out of state. It was cute, with nice Alaskan touches throughout. The location was convienet both to town and my neighborhood, in a quiet nook near a main artery. The property is well cared for and would be a great place for a family to stay during a stay in Fairbanks. The owner's communication and responses were helpful, quick and honest. Highly recommend this spot, and these hosts!

Lazy Bear Cabin is the Best
Hosts were very attentive and responsive to our questions/needs. They were very helpful with local events/sites/things to do. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. It’s a very quiet setting outside of town and not too far from, nor too close to, the airport. Don’t be surprised if you see signs of or actual local wildlife, such as a moose. It’s an awesome place. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy and Convenient Cabin
Lazy Bear Cabin was just what we needed! We’re visiting our new born grand twins and needed something near our son’s house. Was warm for our South Carolina blood, very comfortable, short drive to whatever we needed, was equipped with everything necessary to cook, etc. And Danielle, our host, was great and extremely accommodating and provided some nice personal touches that were above and beyond. We hope to stay here again!
