The Airport Chalet

Comfortable and modern remodeled 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath home with a garage just 2 minutes from Fairbanks International Airport. Very close to stores and town. You will feel right at home and able to relax during your visit to Fairbanks.

Sit back and relax in this completely remodeled home located in a great neighborhood in west Fairbanks just two minutes away from Fairbanks International Airport.

When you arrive, there will be cold bottled water and snacks waiting for you along with a Keurig and pods. The kitchen is fully stocked with a variety of large and small appliances along with all of the cook and bakeware you will need to prepare delicious meals.

The living space is located on the second floor above the garage. The three bedrooms all have queen beds with quality mattresses and bedding, one bedroom with a smart TV with apps. There is a private washer and dryer. If you are traveling with little ones we also have a pack and play, high chair, and books, games and toys available.

The home is located on the Westside of Fairbanks and is close to downtown, grocery stores, University of Alaska Museum and other local attractions. Chena Hot Springs is about one hour away and Denali National Park is about two hours away. The bus line and bike paths are a couple blocks away.

Are you traveling with a large group?! Additionally on the property are two separate short-term rental units. One is a one bedroom one bath cabin, and the other is a three bedroom one and a half bathroom. Please inquiry for booking multiple units on the property.

Making sure you have a completely enjoyable stay is our highest priority!

Private entrance and a one car heated garage that is available, with additional parking to the right of the Airport Chalet.
Please do not park in front of any of the garage doors.

We try to make sure each guest has everything they need when they arrive for a comfortable stay. We send out an electronic guidebook loaded with local information and strive to make sure you are familiar with your surroundings and how to find things. We are available when needed and welcome all respectful guests to book our home.

Great neighborhood located in west Fairbanks very close to the airport.

Plenty of onsite parking at the house. Bus route is nearby along with access to the bike paths.

My family had a short 1 1/2 day stay in Fairbanks between getting off the rail and heading to the airport. The Airport Chalet was the perfect spot. A lovely home with everything you need for a quick or extended stay. Convenient to stores and Fairbanks attractions as well as airport and rail depot. We stayed for almost a week at the Airport Chalet and really enjoyed the property. The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us to spread out. A great kitchen layout with a big eating bar made it easy to fix some meals and snacks when we weren't eating out. And the complimentary bottle of wine and snacks were awesome.

This was a very nice place to stay during our short visit. If we didn't have further plans, we would have stayed for days. The room was nice and clean and well stocked. The location was quiet and roomy. A bottle of wine was waiting on us when we got there which was a surprise. The instructions were very clear and the host was very responsive with my questions. Perfect Landing Spot
After a week in hotels, it was SO very nice for our family of 4 to be able to spread out in this cute 3-bedroom chalet. The snacks and water were very welcomed after a 4 hour train ride up from Denali. The weather was gorgeous in Fairbanks and because it was warm outside, it had warmed inside as well. There is no air conditioning in the chalet, but the owners were quick to provide fans and that was so appreciative! (we are spoiled southerners used to A/C, but can completely understand there being none in Alaska!) We had red-eye flight out our 2nd day, so we were able to enjoy relaxing in the challet before the 2-minute drive to the airport at 11:30 pm. The amount of snacks, coffee K-Cups and other amenities was so thoughtful and as weary travelers, it was much appreciated. Thank you!
