Located just 5 miles from Lexington, Virginia, Washington & Lee University, Virginia Military Institute and the Virginia Horse Center. Situated in tranquil seclusion on 96 acres of woods, but minutes from Interstates 81 and 64.

Master suite with jacuzzi. Second bedroom with queen bed and private full bath.
Third queen Murphy bed in loft. Living room has large screen cable television and fireplace. High speed internet. Full kitchen. Full laundry.

We do not have a doorbell camera or surveillance at the cabin. We do have a camera at the road entry to the property. This is .6 miles from the cabin.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cabin at Oak Tree Farm. Dave and Susan were great hosts and the cabin was gorgeous and clean. We plan to return soon!

Best cabin experience ever
Went with wife and friends. Location in the woods was perfect. Cabin was clean and furnished with nearly everything you could imagine, including fresh flowers, snacks, drinks, coffee, soap, shampoo, browsing deer, etc. Owner Dave responded to messages quickly. We plan on coming back.

Me and my guest had a wonderful time. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. They had little snacks and flowers on the table. The host was very respinsive and so nice.before and during our staff. If your looking to get away in the mountains this is the perfect place.

Another great weekend at the cabin
We've returned to the cabin annually since our first visit several years ago. Truly a special place. Dave remains one of the best hosts in the business, and truly has thought of everything. We'll be heading back soon enough.

Home away from home
We always enjoy our stay at the cabin in the woods. We feel at home there and have great communication with the owners. During our last stay we saw deer and a fox on the property. Nature at its best and still close to city amenities!

Such a great stay. Communicative host, clean house, well equipped inside and out! The deck was just as lovely as the inside! So many great amenities. We loved our stay! The only thing that wasn't expected was that you could hear highway noise in the distance from the outside (not inside).

Truly a luxury cabin off the beaten path, but close to where we needed to be. Hosts were excellent; available in real time if we had any issues. The cabin was modern and up-to-date, with many creature comforts (but the creatures were left outside in the woods). Would most definitely stay here again if the need arises.

Best vacation ever
Gorgeous property. Immaculate house with all of the creature comforts. Quiet and serene. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay to the point we didn’t want to leave. The snacks were most appreciated after a long drive. Just what the doctor ordered!

Beautiful & Cozy Cabin
We've been to many cabins and this by far has been the cleanest & coziest. Dave was super helpful and a great communicator. He answered all the questions I had before I even asked them. Super clean, comfy, and beautiful. My favorite part was the thoughtful touches all around the house. Fresh flowers on the table, snacks for the kiddos and drinks in the fridge. The house had everything we needed, even shampoo and body wash in the showers. Rooms were huge and cozy and I loved the bathrooms. There is a Dollar General Market (fresh food, meat, produce, ect) nearby, so if you need to grab any food, its super close and in town. Will definitely be coming back!

One of our favorites
I think this was maybe our fourth stay; we absolutely love this cabin. It's exactly as pictured and advertised. Host communication is just right; not too much and not too little. The kitchen is well-stocked, not just with pots/pans but water in the fridge, condiment packets, and snacks on the counter. Great little touches like fresh flowers, too!. It's a wonderful romantic escape and would be great for a girls getaway or family trip too.

Luxury in the woods
This home was incredible! We couldn't believe our luck as we traveled down the winding drive to find this beauty at its end. Our family of two adults and three kids ages 10, 13, and 15 settled in quickly to this cozy cabin. The owners, David and Susan, are very responsive and accommodating and have made many thoughtful touches throughout the cabin. With top notch linens and bedding to comfortable furniture for all of us to cuddle up for a movie, we felt right at home. We enjoyed so much of the surrounding area such as a fun night at Hull's Drive-In, a trip to Natural Bridge state park and the caverns, and an outing at the Safari Park. Don't hesitate to book this peaceful retreat!

Perfect weekend getaway!
My husband and I chose this beautiful cabin to spend our 10th anniversary. We were continuously thrilled with every aspect of the cabin and property. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax! We saw a mama and baby deer, along with several other deer, during our stay. It is a fantastic place to stay as it's not far from Lexington and Staunton, but is also secluded and peaceful. Thank you Dave and Susan for an amazing stay! The extra touch of having a bouquet of roses and an anniversary card waiting for us was the icing on the cake!

We had a wonderful stay to celebrate our anniversary. There was great communication by the host, everything was in perfect condition, and the property was as advertised. Really enjoyed our stay in the luxury cabin with everything we needed to rest and relax between various events at W&L. So peaceful and quiet and super clean and cozy. Plenty of room and gorgeous woodwork and wrap around porch. Beds and shower were especially nice! Lots of extra touches to make you feel welcome and special! Want to come back when we can just stay in the cabin for a few days and not leave for events.

Awesome cabin in the woods
My wife and I were in Lexington for my W&L reunion and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Dave’s cabin. We had nice spring weather so we enjoyed the wrap around porch. Everything was in good shape inside and out. We didn’t use the kitchen much because of attending events around campus but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. At night we tended to gravitate to the loft for a glass of wine and reading. We will definitely stay there in the future. Dave was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Perfection!
This cabin is fabulous! Everything was perfect during our stay! I would give it more than 5 stars for cleanliness, if I could! Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of and provided by the hosts, from snacks and drinks, to copious amounts of towels and pillows, even luxurious bathrobes. And we enjoyed watching the deer romp from the huge, wrap-around porch. It was just a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. And communication with the hosts couldn’t have been easier. Dave always replied to me very quickly. We were there for our son’s graduation from VMI (a quick, easy drive), so we were running around a lot for graduation and commissioning festivities, but we plan on going back for a more laid back, relaxing vacation!

Great Birthday Getaway
My husband and I have been wanting to visit The Natural Bridge and the Charlottesville area. We really enjoy VRBO vs hotels. This cabin is everything we hoped it would be. The location is remote and in the middle of trees, nature, and quiet. The design of the cabin is exquisite and every detail is well thought out for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is well supplied with everything for coffee and snacks. This was a welcome due to our late arrival. The bed in the upstairs master was very comfortable and the linens and bedding are luxurious. There are bathrobes and the choice of a relaxing bath in the whirlpool tub for two or the perfect shower in the spa like shower complete with shampoo, conditioner, & body wash. The communication with the owners was timely and very helpful. Dave and Susan had left flowers and a birthday card on the dining table! A perfect touch and a true testament to their commitment of ensuring our stay was memorable. We will definitely come here again and stay in this beautiful cabin.

A Beautiful Retreat
This is an upscale cabin in a beautiful, private setting. We were 3 friends who came to this area for hiking, painting and relaxation. The cabin was spotless and had luxury bedding and lots of extras including spa robes, fresh flowers, snacks and drinks. When I asked if there would be a Scrabble game available, the host went out and bought new set. We loved the sunny breakfast nook and wrap around porch. I recommend this cabin for adults who want a quiet break and time for self care.

IEA weekend stay
Our daughter had a three-day equestrian show at the nearby Virginia Horse Center. My elderly parents were attending as well, so it was an opportunity to turn a horse show weekend into an abbreviated family vacation. The cabin exceeded our expectations. We were positioned in a quiet, rural setting surrounded by nature, while still being within a fifteen minute drive to the Virginia Horse Center and downtown historic Lexington. The cabin was clean and the amenities were first-class. I highly recommend this property.
