"The pictures on the listing are what drew us to this beautiful secluded cottage and we were not disappointed! We enjoyed the quiet seclusion and breathtaking views. We enjoyed a scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway for more mountain views and stopped for good food at My Father's Pizza, (We ate there more than once). And we enjoyed a visit from a small black bear. We had a good view of her from our dining room window. We highly recommend the Morning Glory Cottage! "

"This place is now our favorite lake getaway. Small and very cozy with well-stocked kitchen with all you need to cook your meals. The owner is wonderful and very easy to contact. Highly recommended if you want to escape for some peace and quiet with such beautiful view. We will definitely be back! "

"Stayed here prior to Helene - I hope everyone is okay and the house is good. Great Hosts - this is a nice spot, easy walking to dinner, shops, short drive to downtown. Super clean, and cute. Had a bottle of wine, coffee, etc. Bed was super comfy - recommend it. And the little porch is super nice. Again, I hope everyone is good, Asheville and the surrounding area is a great place to visit."

"Everything was perfect until we had to leave this little oasis right before Hurricane Helene whipped through the area. It was a dissappointing decision to make since we still had so much remaining on our to-do list. The house lived up to its Loverly name and was a love nest in every aspect. "Love the red loft! Everything you could need was there. I loved the front screened porch! Kitchen was stocked nicely. We fell in love with North Carolina and will definitely be back. It is the best for mountain biking. So beautiful!"

"Our family really enjoyed our stay! It was exactly as described. The beds were comfortable; as we also enjoyed the pond, sunsets on the porch, and Hershey, the donkey. We found him some pears from a tree on the property and he loved them! We look forward to booking the house again, as our daughter attends Mars Hill University and it's only about a 10 mile drive to the school."
