"We were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this hotel was. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed that I have slept in during this trip! The hotel staff were friendly and although we did not speak German and they did not speak English, we managed to communicate. There was a locked bike cage in the garage which we appreciated. By bike it was a quick cycle into the centre of town where we found a bakery, grocery store and a lovely park. "

"It wasn't possible to have some ice cubes. They were saying they didn't have any? That's the first hotel i have been to, where they don't (won't) give me ice cubes. In that case they should put the free water in the fridge instead of putting it on the table so it gets varm. Last thing was the juice at breakfast. It seams that the first juice in the morning are from the day before (99% sure) i think it's because there is a automatically juice refill machine. So they don't empty the bottles and...

"Everything and anything in the castle stinks with cat urine! The sanitation department should check this place. A cat killed a mouse right in front of us in the "lobby"... The "apartment" rented to us was not a true rental, it was someone else's full time apartment that was cleaned for us. It had all the articles of the owner. Really gross. The people who live and work there really try hard and are nice, but not disclosing the cat pee stink and the fact that the property was someone's permanent...

"The hotel has no AC. Our room was above the front of the hotel, where everyone gathered on the patio to drink and smoke. The noise and the smell were terrible. The room was hot, and to open the window your room smelled of smoke. We woke up at 6:30 am to the smell of smoke. How dreadful! We asked for a fan, but the hotel did not have any. And the hotel is located on a busy road. Needless to say, we had a terrible sleep. We were cycling the Elbe river. We would not recommend. "
