Our one-room rustic cabin nestled on a 27 acre campground property bordering the Licking River is an ideal couple or solo escape!
Enjoy a comfy bed, desk with chair and light, ceiling fan, fridge with freezer and microwave, electric skillet, coffee maker, hot/cold water. Bathrooms are a few skips away with showers, potable water and sinks large enough to wash dishes.
Your stay supports our ministry to create work programs for developmentally disabled adults. Thank you for supporting us!
Guests have access to shared spaces and their private accommodations. The cabin is solely yours, and you will be sharing the rest of the property with other guests, primarily families and youth groups visiting AIG attractions. Kids are generally on the playground and basketball courts.
We are 57 min (49.1 miles) from the Creation Museum and 37 min (20.0 miles) from the Ark Encounter.
Laurel Bend's main purpose is to create a safe and enjoyable, family-friendly venue for weddings, reunions and other retreats while providing work and job training for adults with developmental disabilities. Part of our program will involve animals, so as we progress, we will be adding more animals and offerings.
We currently are breeding angora goats (over 50) and have a few Suri and Huacaya alpacas which are in the pastures across our private road from the cottage. We also have cats, dogs and free range chickens. Because goats and alpacas are not friendly to outside animals, we can’t accept family pets.
