"Yes parking is difficult but once you are parked you don't ever need to move your car as you have direct access to a ferry port and can travel to virtually any town that borders como di lago. "There were no surprises when we arrived and checked out the house. It was very thoughtful that there were some food items for our arrival. Everything worked fine and the owner was responsible for a couple of maintenance issues. The yard lights did not come on the last two nights and we missed them. Getting around the area by walking is a little sketchy because the roadway is narrow. We found the ferry stop 10 minutes from the house very convenient."

He made life easy with a detailed "instruction manual" that explained everything we needed to know to about the house, from check-in to check-out. "Our group of 2 sisters, plus spouses (very fit age 60's, 70's) stayed here mid-September; it is a beautiful location right on the lake. If the weather had been a bit warmer, less windy and rainy, we would have spent more time on the delightful patio. Getting here, however, on the epically windy roads, and down a very steep driveway, and many steps to get to the apartment, makes it challenging if you're not a good driver/active walker. In general, we walked everywhere on our 4 night stay here....
