"My stay at La Saudade was a very pleasant experience. The hosts are kind and interesting people, you are steps from the very charming town of St. Peray (which has infinitely more going for it than the other ‘wine towns’ in the area). Enjoyed a lovely dinner at La Ruche, and was told that the nearby Auberge is also a fun family destination. La Saudade is the embodiment of a lovely chambre d’hotes - clean, unpretentious, interesting old home, and is also personal and memorable! Recommend!"

"The hotel was clean and comfortable. We arrived very late, around 2am and there was someone at the reception who didn't speak much english but we understood each other. I wasn't expecting much of the hotel because of the price but I think overal was very good. The only thing I saw as a downside is that our room was just above where people go to smoke so I had to smell the cigarrete smoke because the room was boiling as the air conditioning wasn't working. "We had the most pleasant stay at Casa mARTa! Fabrice was such a gracious host! It was so great having someone to tell us about the city and give us some of the local tips. Waking up to breakfast each morning was a perfect way to start each day. Our room had a lovely terrace that overlooked the valley also. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very much. I can't say enough good things about Casa mARTa and will definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to others!"
