"Nice appartment by the sea in an old house. The balcony is just on the beach so that you can relax listening to the sea clapotis any time (for example at breakfast :))... While the sea is not always accessible just in front of the appartment, you can just go 100 m away. Very convenient !!!"

"Our two families of 4 had a fantastic stay at this property. The location was wonderfully unique in the authetically greek couuntyside with lots to do nearby for everyone. Although it was hot summer weather, we found reprieve from the weather up in the mountains, on the shaded deck of the house, swimming in the Gulf of Corinth and, of course, the pool! Owner and host were great, quick to respond and gave us usefull info about the area."

"Arrived at the Convivial on 8/29/2024. A sign said to call a cell phone, no one around. Not a good start for a place named "convivial". Someone came down and showed us a room with stained carpets, stained curtains, stained towels, dark bathroom that wasn't clean. Carpeted stairs had stains. "Arrived at the Convivial on 8/29/2024. A sign said to call a cell phone, no one around. Not a good start for a place named "convivial". Someone came down and showed us a room with stained carpets, stained curtains, stained towels, dark bathroom that wasn't clean. Carpeted stairs had stains. The carpets everywhere looked worn and not vacuumed. The doors to the rooms were plain wooden doors you might have in your house. One of them had a crack in it that you could see light come through. Not secure at all. The lobby was dark and the couch had a dark stain, as if someone had wiped greasy hands on it. No "luxury" here. There is a courtyard with a small pool that had not been cleaned for a long time. The walls below water were dirty. There were debris floating on the water and there was no filtration pump going. There were droppings on the pavement and the few tables/chairs were covered with dust. Not "spa" like either. The receptionist showed us three rooms and they were all in similar conditions. We spoke with the owner and they refused to refund our money. They offered to clean the room. I was disgusted and wouldn't sleep there even at no charge. I had to find another place to stay. I complained to Expedia. They tried to get in touch with the owner. The owner didn't answer the calls, Expedia did not approve a refund. This is the cancellation policy of 24 hours prior, but it seems there is no protection against false advertising. This place has been neglected for some time."

"The place is brand new. Very well maintained. Great service. Highly friendly staff. Tasty breakfast. Good dining options. Amazing pool. There are not too many attractions close by. Perfect place just to relax or to spend a day in between Patras and Athens or south Peloponnese. Highly recommended!"

"Loved our stay at Kalavrita Canyon Resort and Spa. We were pleasantly surprised on our mountain drive up to Kalavrita as there is stunning scenery along the switchbacks. The hotel staff are exceptional; the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The decor of the hotel is very eclectic and interesting. There’s a sweet courtyard in the rear and pool. Underground and street parking available. Walking distance to historic sites and village shops/restaurants."
