"This was our 3rd stay at Phyllis’ property and it, yet again, did not disappoint. The unique home with history and modern amenities is just perfect in its beautiful landscape. "We really like the location. It was nice to be able to go by the river. The yard and the sunroom were nice. Hot water and water pressure were great upstairs queen size bed was great but the other beds could’ve used improving. If you stay here, in the fall, please be aware that during picking season Ladybugs invade the sunroom. I had to vacuum several times. Also, be aware that this house is very near the train tracks and with increased train traffic in the area there are at least three trains...

"Awesome stay. The property is beautiful. The house is very clean up to date. The four season porch room is awesome for morning coffee. Having a fire riverside was nice too. There is road noise as the house is close to the highway. But we will definitely stay again sometime."

"We spent a week at the Depot while touring Wisconsin chasing the fall colours. We loved the decor of the cottage, the beds were comfortable & we enjoyed the country vibes. As the Depot is in quite an isolated position you need to consider bringing basic supplies with you. E.g milk etc. we only found out about the lack of onsite shopping when we arrived late at night. We found out where a supermarket was, once we arrived & read the information sheet. Richlands Center was a valuable resource...

"We loved our stay! We got holed up with the heat for a few days.. but thank goodness for that game room!!! The only reason I gave one less star on location is that the property is right on the road, and the gameroom is across that road, although the traffic is not bad at all as far as amount of traffic :) - Everything was very clean, and it was so nice to be able to bring our dogs! "The place was great! Everything you needed was available. Very nicely decorated. Only complaint was I received a bunch of emails that had nothing to do with the emails I had sent. No acknowledgement about what was in my emails. Seemed like it was a generic email just sent automatically. Did not get that welcoming feeling from host that you usually get."

The beds are comfortable, the whole place is clean, and the folks that run the breakfast/shop downstairs (and the little shop called 'The Farmacy') are just the nicest people. The shelf of puzzles, games, and books was a great touch.
