"Property was as described. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Four of the five bedrooms are spacious, one is rather cramped with a sloping roof. Some might find the noise of the constant water flow distracting, we found it soothing. The village is quaint and authentic in an agricultural area but its quite far to go to get supplies. "Initial impressions were very good. Large space both indoors and outside. All amenities advertised were there and functional (kitchen knives would benefit from a good sharpening 😃). Bedrooms were clean with fresh linen. Good wardrobe space. We made use of the pool but never got round to using the hot tub. Great place for a relaxing stay with friends. Sandrine is welcoming but doesn’t speak any English so brush up on your French! Good location and plenty to see in the area"

"Epernay is a must see in France. This apartment stay was one for the books. I had my wife and adult daughter joining me on this journey with both really enjoying their stay. My daughter liked having the privacy of her own room. The whole apartment was incredibly well presented and appointed. Accessing the apartment was easy, the location was central and the owner was lovely in being able to store the bags before check-in as we arrived early. "We stayed in this lovely home for a week in early August for a French vacation, with a side of Olympics in Paris. It was perfect. Pictures don’t do it justice. It has one of the best-stocked kitchens of any vacation home we have rented; modern, with everything you need to prepare a meal, and nothing you don’t. "Basic hotel that's well run by enthusiastic people, and with great breakfast - much better than others in price range. The rooms are spartan but have what you need and it was clean, new, had convenient parking and was close to stores and major roads. Had a wonderful view of vineyard-covered hills. "The hotel is very suitable for anyone travelling from the UK by road to southern France or the Alps. The drive from Calais to Chalons-en-Champagne is less than 3 hours. The town is not too far from the motorway south. There is very well priced fuel available. The hotel is located in a very pleasant square. Whereas the hotel does not have a dining room (except for breakfast) there are several restaurants and bars in the square. The hotel has a limited amount of parking, but there is parking in the square and an underground car part beneath the hotel next door that is open to the public."
