About this property

Authentic Tipi in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Retreat to the Blue Ridge Mountains and experience glamping in one of our authentic, 24' tipi. Our tipi is custom made in Oregon with hand-painted exterior and interior graphics. They are meticulously furnished and decorated with the comforts of home, and the peace and tranquility that the mountains offer. Blue Ridge Ranch consists of 387 acres nestled between two mountain ridges. Our property features five stocked ponds, a trout stream, and miles of hiking trails. Proceeds from camping benefit our non-profit organization which offers youth camp programs.

Our Geo Tipi glamping package includes 2 queen beds with sheets, blankets, and pillows. For those who may need we do offer additional cots. We also provide a propane grill with a stovetop burner, a percolator coffee pot for the grill, an outdoor eating area, a fire-ring, outdoor seating, and a starter supply of firewood. We provide Igloo with 5 gallons of clean water for washing hands, brushing teeth, and washing dishes, and a food/drink cooler. We provide plates, cups, utensils, sharp knives, a cutting board, and dish/hand soap. Each tipi has its own portable toilet that is cleaned and emptied weekly.

When you arrive, the cooler we provide will be filled with ice and we will have provided the initial bundle of firewood. Additional ice needed and additional firewood bundles are available for purchase. For cooler weather, we can provide a propane heater and 20 lb. propane tank for rental. We ask that you please not bring your own firewood due to the transmission of wood-related diseases and parasites. Thank you!

Note: In the event of cancellation, we are unable to refund the costs of the stay because of our inability to replace the rental due to it being taken off the “available” status once the reservation is secured. However, if you need to cancel, we can reschedule the same number of nights M-Thurs for no additional cost except $50 setup/cleaning. If you need to reschedule Fri-Sun, we can reduce the nightly rental rate by 50%, plus cleaning & taxes because we would otherwise lose weekend revenue which is essential to our small business. Thank you for understanding.

Simply perfect
I don’t know where to start… if you want to unplug enjoy sounds of nature , say hi to very friendly animals, hike and explore some waterfalls, cool off at the beach area while enjoying the beauty around, meet an amazing ranch team pet some friendly dogs, learn about the property and how it became the blue ridge ranch, fish, and enjoy your own privacy then this is the place ! My little family enjoyed every moment ! We glamped! It was so much fun not only can you glamp but you can tent and rv!! This place is clean and a hidden gem! Our beds were so comfortable and our porta John was clean. The night sky was amazing and we loved our “grill n griddle” .. where are you stay in an RV at tent or a Tee Pee this place is definitely worth it We made great memories!!

Quiet Escape!
This was the perfect place to get away and enjoy some quiet time with friends. It was off the grid, but with all the amenities one would need. The space and location were wonderfully quiet and peaceful listening to the river at night…we will be back!

Our new favorite spot!
We didn’t know what to expect and this place blew us away. If was so perfect for our family. It rained cats and dogs all weekend but that didn’t dampen our fun. We stayed in a teepee and slept in the most comfortable bed. Everything we needed was provided- we only needed out clothes and food. The teepee also had a high top table and 4 stools and a comfy sitting area. My boys loved feeding the animals and fishing! The owners are the kindest people! Our last night the rain was heavy- Mr Troy (my boys called him) built a fire under his carport and hung out with us entertaining the kids. You won’t find a more welcoming place and gracious hosts. We will be retuning often! We absolutely loved it!

Best Vacation EVER
We had the best time just enjoying the land and the company. The teepee was beautiful and had everything we needed, but the best part was the incredible surroundings that were taken care of by the best of the best. Nannette and Troy and their staff created a great environment for us to make memories. From the animals to the land to the people and mission of Blue Ridge Ranch, you can’t go wrong. We highly recommend you stay here. You’ll instantly feel like family.

Great weekend getaway
Troy and Nanette are gracious host with a beautiful farm they love to share. There are plenty of hiking and walking trails to enjoy on the property. The tipis are a unique way to camp and we really enjoyed it. There are a total of five fishing ponds on the property. We caught rainbow and brown trout on dry flies in the upper pond. We saw two different waterfalls on the property. Also there is a beautiful stream (stoney fork) that runs there the property. We also enjoyed meeting there farm helpers Jen and Isaac. They were very helpful too. We enjoyed playing with the farm animals. We will be back again

Perfect Escape!
A friend of mine and I met there and enjoy the weekend. We loved that there was no Wi-Fi and no electricity, but there was a shower available. The hiking in the area was gorgeous and there is much to see and enjoy. The beds were very comfortable and warm. We had more than enough to make this a comfortable stay for reuniting as friends again.

All around good time!
We had a great stay glamping this weekend. The staff and owners were so sweet. My kids, age 9 and 5, loved feeding the animals in the morning, playing in the creeks, seeing waterfalls, and exploring the area. It was easier than I expected to not have electric or phone service (although WiFi was available at the farm). My kids loved picking the eggs from the chicken nest. Seeing ducks, Chickens, roosters, pigs, a bunny, peacocks, and much more was a highlight So much of what you need for this teepee glamping experience is already supplied. The staff is so helpful and even came to check on us during a rainstorm to make sure we didn’t get wet. We really enjoyed it and feel good coming back to support such an awesome nonprofit.
