"We had an incredible stay at Millfield Homestead. The house itself is beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for our group of 10 adults. The surrounding property is stunning, with kangaroos in the paddock next door adding to the charm.One of the standout features was the incredibly well-stocked kitchen. It had everything we could possibly need, from proper indoor and outdoor serveware to thoughtful extras like glad wrap, scissors, oil, and even pens. It made meal prep and dining so easy and enjoyable.The homestead is truly a memorable and special place. Peaceful, picturesque, and with every detail considered—we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again "

"We stayed 2 nights. The place was clean, spacious, and had great furniture. We especially enjoyed the snuggle room, reading in peace and quiet. Pubs on the way at Wiseman's Ferry and nearby at St Alban's both provided great food and atmosphere. Nice road trip on the way back to Sydney through Windsor. Hosts Colin and Carol were very knowledgeable about the area and let us have our privacy. Would definitely recommend to any singles or couples."

"Stayed at Bellbird for one night in an ensuite room. Very spacious both bedroom and ensuite which was newly renovated. Split air-conditioning plus ceiling fan. No coffee or tea facilities.We arrived as they were replacing old mattressess for new. Daughter stayed in shared bathroom which was also recently renovated. "

"Main house was lovely & serviced our needs entirely. The large balcony provided plenty of space & comfort over looking the property. The kitchen had every thing we needed. The pool was awesome & lots of fun was had. Our only issues was that one of the beds in caravan near shed had broken slats & could not sleep on it & neither vans were air conditoned. Also, we understand the house is tank water but it was discoloured & we would not drink it. Also dryer not working. Apart from these small issues, it did not stop us from having a great time & would love to come back again soneday."

"Decided to stay here Saturday night after going to the airshow in cessnock because they had reasonable prices compared to town. Plus it is nice and quiet to being in the bush about 10.8km from town. "
