"First time back after opening of new road replacing The Gorge. Great improvement! Some excellent new restaurants (Madame Social especially) and some old favs doing well (fish at Mr D's was memorable). The enormous south at the Upper Norwood cafe was absolutely wonderful."

"We had an excellent stay at Quality Inn Napier! From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome right away. Our room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with two comfortable queen beds. It was also very quiet, which gave us a restful and uninterrupted sleep each night. They kindly provided a portable double hot plate upon request, which was perfect for preparing our own meals. The toilet and bathroom were spotless—another big plus. The location is also a standout—convenient and walkable to Marine Parade, which made exploring Napier easy and enjoyable. Parking was spacious and felt very safe, adding to the peace of mind during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!"
